Whenever we have guests, we usually go here since it is a short walk and always good. Two big plusses: Scali Toast and sausage patties. Many creative approaches to pancakes, coffee in random mugs from various places usually served by some high school kid. They are always busy but always friendly and we love it!

This is a great, friendly breakfast place! The food is tasty, gets to you pretty quick, and there is plenty of it! The prices are pretty amazing too. When it gets crowded, you have to be a little aggressive to get a coffee refill, but other than that we love this place!

My Mom and I ate here two weeks ago and LOVED our meal! We split and egg sandwich and strawberry cheesecake stuffed French toast- and if that doesn't sound appealing, then I don't know what does. It was so delicious and the service was quick and our waitress was very friendly. They have a large array of flavored creamers which... More

Pancakes, french toast, omelettes are the best. The omelettes servings are huge so you need to have a good appetite to finish one and they are yummy. I had gone here a couple of times for breakfast and i had taken a family visiting me as well. The food and service is awesome. This place does get a bit crowded... More

We had to many different servers, very confusing. One thing we don't like is places that set menus on top of our clean silverware. During our visit none of these servers came to see how we were doing or to offer more coffee, one finally came with a check... I said, hello can I get a second cup of coffee.... More

We went to Cappa's twice for breakfast during our recent trip to Melrose. The place is small, but the staff is warm and wonderful. I tried their special cranberry walnut pancakes on our second visit, and they were probably the best pancakes I have ever eaten. I can't wait for our next visit!

Breakfast is my favorite meal, hands down, and Cappas Trackside is the perfect place. Their cheese omlettes and homefries are delicious and remind me of breakfast at home with my family. It can get really crowded, especially on the weekends, but it's well worth the wait. Good value and location.

It may be a little crowded inside at times and the decor is nothing special, but the food and service are very good. Three of us went recently for breakfast. I love the fact that with some breakfasts you get pancakes and toast. Wow! The coffee is tasty and refilled as needed.

We've only been here for breakfast. The food comes out quickly and the prices are very reasonable. The servers are friendly and are quick to fill the coffee cups. Typical breakfast menu.

Three of us went for breakfast today. Pancakes were great and big. Toast came with the breakfasts that had pancakes - who could ask for more. Coffee very good and cup kept full. Recommend this please highly.
