There is not enough seating in the Danish Pastry House. There is no convenient parking. The service is slow. Now hurry to get there, fight for a tiny table, and treasure the experience. The pastries are elegant, delicious, and plentiful. The sandwiches are gourmet. The coffee is true in flavor and beautifully served. It's worth the fight, worth the inconvenience.... More

This place has a huge variety of lattes and delicious pastries and fancy desserts. They also have very nice sandwiches. People like to do homework here but there is only one table with access to a outlet.

We were recently staying in rented accommodation in Medford and our hosts recommended that we try this cafe for lunch or for taking out food. We did so on 3 occasions during our stay. The cakes and sandwiches were very good indeed although the service was a bit haphazard at times.

Had a lovely breakfast sandwich of egg, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce on fabulous thin crisp toasted bread. Came with a light salad with delish vinagrette. Bright and airy cafe, good coffee, clean restroom. You can walk to Tufts University or stroll lovely Medford. Though I didn't try any, they had beautiful display case of Danish pastry, quiche, and fresh breads.... More

Right at the bottom of Tufts campus, the Danish Pastry House is a great little bakery with great pastries, excellent sandwiches and fun coffee's. Try the Thin Mint coffee with a spicy grilled cheese sandwich.... Really nice late lunch after our Tufts visit.

We were most recently at this restaurant on May 16, 2014, but we have been to this restaurant before then so my review is not based on one visit. This is a restaurant that serves as a bakery and cafe. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant and restrooms are mostly clean enough, but the service is lacking. There is only... More

What's not to love about Danish Pastry House? They have great coffee, amazing pastries plus good lunch options. Their sweets are easily among the best in Boston. It is worth the trip to Medford to experience their food. Delicious

Wonderful food and beautiful desserts at good prices. Will definitely visit again. Only drawbacks are small kitchen means meals come out slowly, one at a time, not the entire table...and on a busy Sunday morning seating was tight. I think they're planning an expansion.

Danish Pastry House (DPH) is the best lunch place near Tufts. They have amazing sandwiches, elaborate coffees, and excellent pastries (as the name states). It's quick, not too expensive, free wifi, and just an enjoyable and friendly experience. Highly recommend!

Fint og hyggeligt, rigtigt dansk. Fine and cozy, authentic Danish pastries. Not necessarily the least expensive, but certainly closest to Danish I've found outside of DK. The food has been good each time we've been there. Never having been at peak hours, I can't address the service at that time. We go during off hours; the service has been as... More
