Pizzeria Regina has the Old World Neopolitan pizza

I returned to Regina when I got my seasonal craving for the original "Old World Style" Neapolitan pizza. This is for hard core Italians, or those who wish they were. Take a delicious, yeast risen crust, top it with tomatoes, anchovies, and capers, and cook it well done. That's it. No cheese! If... read more

Regina's has a reputation for some darn good pizza - in Boston's North End...they now have a spot in Medford in the new development near Wellington .....we had a great supper there - outdoor seating which was fun - some of us opted for pasta...most just wanted pizza. The service was good - it was quite busy - but we... More

So is it one of the great meals I have had in a restaurant...sure if the meal was pizza. So having said that the pizza is thin crust, crispy, sauce is is sweet tomato...the whole thing is done just right...they do not loose sight of what pizza is suppose to be...they do not over think it ..

We've visited a few times and the pizza is always good. The interior of the restaurant looks like an old-school pizza parlor and as such it can get loud. If you're looking for a romantic date night you should probably look elsewhere.

Loved the sausage peppers and onions, eggplant rollantini tasted weird - just wasnt good at all, garlic bread was great. Shrimp scampi pizza was fantastic, meatballs were blech, cheese pizza was nothing to get excited about. Service was good though

We stopped in after a local football game on a Friday night. We were seated promptly and the service was terrific. We shared a large sausage and mushroom pizza and it was one of if not THE best pizza that I have ever eaten. Evrything was perfect; a crispy crust, lots of cheese and toppings and a delicious taste.

Being originally from Boston, I love the pizza from the North End. I just returned home from a visit to Boston. Well family took me to Reginas. One bite and I was a kid again. Great tasting pizza made the way it should be. Plus prior to your food they bring you bread and seasoned oil. I can't wait until... More

Great Pizza! Wonderful wine selection and loved the local ambience. Our waiter was from Italy and hilarious as we were starving and almost ordered WAY to much! We also saw a Regina's down at the Quincy Market! This restaurant however was wonderful!
