We came here a year or so ago and had a good experience with everything. Came back today and the service was still good, but the food was a disappointment. The scallops were served under cooked and rubbery. The chowder had a funny taste to it (like caraway?) and was skimpy on the clams. Don't know if they changed cooks... More

I love the old fashioned feel of this restaurant and it's seat yourself style of dining. The food is always excellent and the staff are always so friendly.

Enjoyed this fried seafood restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon. Place is spacious and brings the food to your table.

We had already eaten at 2 fish specialty restaurants in the area and frankly they were poor. So I was delighted when we had absolutely beautifully prepared Haddock and chips here. The fish was fresh, tasty succulent with big flakes that fell apart when you bit into the crunchy batter. Absolutely yummy. Extremely reasonably priced and served by smiling and... More

Cooke's is a pub-style seafood restaurant. I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE! Order at the counter and pay then go find a table. They deliver to your table. No tipping required. They charge maybe 10%-15% more than the average fried seafood restaurant, but they ALWAYS give you good portions and high quality. Shorts, jeans and sandals, no fine... More

All the fried portions on my seafood platter, was mushy and tasted like everything was fried in the same fryer.

Stopped on highway after long day on Martha's vineyard. Cooked seafood was a quick reasonable option. Scallops and scrod casserole was good. Wife's salmon was OK but had a few bones. Biggest problem I had was all food was served on paper plates. Very ecological bad. Just plastic forks and plastic cups.
