Great ice cream

Reviews are right on point. We were looking for a good ice cream place and this is it. This was my first time and I had the waffle bowl which was made at the time I ordered. They also have waffle cones. The waffle part was very good and was surprised that they make them to order. There... read more

Had the peanut butter sundae and it was delicious and huge. My son loved the little cone and cotton candy ice cream! Will definitely return! Great service as well and the owner was very friendly. Thank you

I never tire of reading a review such as yours. It lets me know that all the hard work that goes into making our guests experience the best it can be is seen and appreciated. No matter the day or time, every waffle cone and bowl is made for each guest as ordered, and there is no better way to... More

We came upon Polar Cave Ice Cream by accident and I'm so glad we did! The shop is small in size but HUGE in flavor. The décor inside includes many vintage Coca Cola-themed items as well as polar bear toys and cars and planes fashioned from Coke cans - plenty to keep your eyes busy while waiting in line :)... The Polar Cave always wins the award for the best ice cream on the Cape, A personal favorite of mine is peppermint stick and theirs beats all other hands down. Prices are competitive and servings are big. A favorite for locals!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Peppermint Stick is one of my favourites too and due to our fan demand we had to make it available year round, instead at just Christmastime. Hope to see you again soon, and please introduce yourself so I can thank you personally. More

Just a fun spot to have an ice cream creation anytime. The cones are huge and the ice cream is made there and there is a nice sitting area to enjoy the ice cream treat

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. Just to point out, our ice cream is made at a small creamery just outside of Boston. We do not have the capabilities needed at our location. It is made in small batches and delivered at least twice a week and as many as four times. So... More

We've been to all the 'best' ice cream places on the cape and none come close to this one. Here's why. 1) the Ice cream is rich, creamy and full of flavor, 2) the flavor selection runs from standard to custom, 3) the smell of cones being made to order - what more needs to be said, 3) the staff... Thank you so much for your kind words. The only way we know that the hard work put into making our guests experience the best it can be, is when we receive a review such as yours. Community relationship building is one of the most important aspects of our business, without the support of our local fan base Polar Cave... More

We went on a Saturday night in April and had to wait in line for close to 30 minutes. The ice cream was so delicious (and the fresh waffle cone was on point!) and we were glad we waited but would probably pass in the future of we were on a schedule.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on your experience at Polar Cave. Yes, even on a chilly night in April our lines can be long, yet people will wait for the unique experience of a warm rolled to order waffle cone filled with our delicious ice cream. Here's a little secret, in season we have a... More

In a small cottage on Rt 28 in Mashpee is the best ice cream. The owner Mark is a delightful Brit, and his young staff is very helpful. Prices a very low, while quality is high. Polar Cave is a small ice cream parlor with outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy this delicious, ice cream. There is usually a line out the door but service is quick . Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Right now those same picnic tables are buried in snow, seems a very long way from fall and spring - let alone summer!
