I visited The Mills Restaurant for the first time since their ownership change and absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. We stopped by on a Sunday and barely beat the rush. The first thing I noticed was the focus on local ingredients the kitchen has placed on their specials menu. They were serving a vegetable hash of locally sourced... More

It's small, it's local and the food is good. If you want a good breakfast and you're in the Mills, this is the place to go. If you're looking for fancy food or a stellar view or tablecloths and fabric napkins, better find another place. Want friendly wait staff and home-cooked food, a little off the beaten path, this will... More

I really love the way they updated this place. The food was great and I especially loved the cheesecake pancakes (got one as a side as they are so decadent). The service was quick and responsive. It's just a great place. Can't wait to come back.

The Mills restaurant used to be my all time favorite spot for breakfast. But a few owner changes and bad experiences I had not visited there in years. I will say I tried it again and the food and service were both very good. It is once a gain a place worth putting on your list.

We liked this place so much, we went back a second time. We loved the coffee, the omelettes, the toast, grilled tomato and smoked salmon scramble. Sometimes there's a line, but it was worth the wait.

If you love breakfast, this is the place for you. This was honestly the best breakfast I've ever had. When we got there, there was a line of people waiting to get in but it only took us 5 minutes before they took us in. The coffee is hot and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered "cranberry... More

We have had breakfast in many places in Maryland, DC and Cape Cod over the last three weeks and this was the best yet. The lobster benedict with asparagus was perfect and the corned beef hash was among the best we have ever had. As usual in American diners the coffee was nothing special but, apart from that, it would... More
