We are frequent visitors to this iconic Brant Rock restaurant. On this particular evening, the weather was hot and steamy and we decided to dine on the upstairs deck. We weren't alone; the deck was buzzing with activity and the atmosphere was festive. Fortunately, a high top table was available. The deck offers one of the best outdoor dining options... More

I have lived in Marshfield all of my life and never ate here. Went here with my family after a day at the beach and was very disappointed. Clam chowder all I could taste was celery. Quite a few of our steamers were bad. My mothers clams tasted like they were cooked and reheated. My brother-in-laws swordfish was dry and... More

Haddad's has the best lobster chowder on the South Shore with generous chunks of lobster meat. We ate lunch there as a family with a group of five adults and ordered a variety of dishes from the fried oyster roll to the boiled lobster to the shrimp tacos. All dishes were expertly prepared and satisfying. No arm twisting to get... More

I took my little sister to Haddad's for lunch as a treat the other day, and all I can say is that the portions and food were great, as was our server. However, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we brought half our meal home. The golden honey bbq chicken tenders were fantastic, lobster chowder was divine, and... More

The outside (upper) deck with bar is nice. However, we wondered why it wasn't extended in the back where the view of marsh and boats are beautiful. Our seafood casserole was delicious, cooked real hot right through. Been here before and this meal was much better. Beautiful building. Suggestion.....drinks shouldn't be in small plastic cups.

Perhaps not the best view but still a great outside patio with plenty if attentive waitstaff and good food. They also have a large bar downstairs with 5 HD TVs to watch sports or whatever else might happen to be on.

As usual we visited Haddads on our trip to Marshfield several times. We have never been disappointed when we visit. We were surprised as the pricing has not changed very much from last year, considering food prices have risen dramatically at both the wholesale as well as the retail in the last year ( just look at your weekly grocery... I've heard good things about the fish here, but it's not the best I've had. I had the haddock--felt it was dry and over cooked. My friend had the same feeling. Nice waitresses, good family atmosphere. It may have just been an off day for the chef, but I feel if a restaurant is known for it's fish, it should... More

I was a fan of the old Haddad's - a secret gem. Now, with their remodeling, I feel like they are gouging the customers to pay for their remodel. The price for mixed drinks is high and their food is just average. It doesn't take much for a party of two to drop $100. I will think twice before returning.

Typical fried seafood. Nothing to rave about. Served warm and slow. It is good if u want bulk fried food at a reasonable cost.
