Very good burgers and decent cocktails. Most of the food is pub variety not gourmet but that is what you expect in a sports bar. There are enough TVs that even the most ardent sports fan can get his fill of whatever sport they want to see.

Really needed a good sports pub on the south shore and cask and flagon has filled that need! Bit pricey but worth it. Good food and great beer selection.

Very Poor service. Very disappointing. I have given this place too many chances. Extremely difficult to get bartender's attention. Bartenders seem perplexed if we want to order food at the bar. Possibly need additional bar staff or some more training. The veggie burger is the bomb though.

The food is fine. The service gets an A for effort. But the management needs to pick it up a little. I went here with a party of four, for one of our birthdays. Because this is a hot spot on the South Shore these days, we made reservations so we wouldn't have to wait for a seat. And yet,... More

We had lunch here over the weekend. The decor is VERY nice. A lot of money was spent in building out this place. It was almost a little shocking how bad the food was. To sum it up, it seemed like everything was taken out of a freezer and microwaved or deep fried. The menu is beautiful and we were... More

We (six adults and one child) were in the area last weekend. We had planned to have lunch at our usual restaurant but saw the Cask'n Flagon was open so tried it on a whim. We are already planning to head back. Every one of us had an exceptional meal from the meaty ribs to the tender and lightly fried... More

My wife and I went with my son and his wife and daughter. We were seated quickly. There was a really good sports bar atmosphere with the Bruins on most of the TVs. TVs were everywhere, including personal ones in the booths. There was a good sized bar and the inside seemed bigger than the outside. The draft beers were... More

The first time i went in was at 11pm on a Friday night. We got one beer each and as we went to order another at 11:45, we were told they stopped serving at 11:45?!! Confused, we paid our tab and went somewhere else. We wanted to give it another shot so we went earlier and this time for dinner.... More

Sportsbar, lot of noise, lot of TV's, food was good but not special. but I have to admit....it was tasty. Affordable, go there for something to eat & drink. Don't go if you're looking for a new food experience.

I have been to the Cask and Flagon two or three times now. Usually get a burger. Burgers have been good up until my most recent visit. On this visit I ordered fish tacos because I had read a few good reviews on them. 3 small tacos on plate. Each taco had what resembled an over-cooked frozen fish stick. The... More
