Walked in to the Bridgewaye yesterday after being to the Oktoberfest event at the Marshfield Fair. We walked in, the four of us, to get a drink and check the place out. The bar was busy and the restaurant just about empty. Since there was nowhere for the four of us to sit together at the bar, we asked if... More

Five of us arrived around 9pm on a weeknight in September when most of the area had rolled up the sidewalks. We expected to be told the kitchen would be closing soon as so many do but were pleasantly surprised to be treated as if we had arrived at 7pm. The swordfish with lobster topping on special was outstanding although... More

Title says it all! That pizza is amazing but do try the fried fish as that is quite good too. The dining room overlooks the South River and on a nice day it is very relaxing

The Bridgewaye Inn has become a family "go to." Like any other restaurant, they occasionally have an off night, but it's rare. Some of our favorite dishes include Asian salad, scallop platter, NY sirloin with gorgonzola and most pizzas. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous, During the summer and weekend nights, expect a long wait and a... More

We've been going here for 5 years and have never had a bad meal. We usually go for the seafood but we also like to take-out some pizza on occasion. The baked stuffed lobster is by far the best item on the menu. It is loaded with lobster, scallops and shrimp..and the stuffing is delicious. It is quite a meal.... More

Our granddaughter had to have her favorite summer meal so we set off for the Bridgewaye for fried clams. The wait was very long and the place was noisy, but in an upbeat, positive way. Her clam plate was huge, the steak fries good and the onions divine. My husbands fish & chips was excellent and better than many in... More

Went to the Bridgewaye for a late lunch. Have not been here in years but had visitors from abroad and wanted them to have reasonably priced typical local fare. The chowder was good as was the shrimp cocktail. I had steamers which were delicious. The rest of our party had salad, seafood pie, fisherman's platter, scallops and lobster rolls. All... More

Polcari's Bridgwaye Inn is a typical seaside family restaurant that has a captive crowd being the single dinner spot for Humarock residents. Loud and crawling with people of all ages, was it ever noisy! The seafood is good. Even the pizza was impressive. The bartender we had acted like she owned the place and was doing us a favor. Was... Shrimp, scallops and Monkfish Piccata... a seaside setting... friendly service... a festive mood... What's not to like? Visits here are never disappointing. Although, on occasion there can be a long wait. Timing is important and we were fortunate on this occasion...only about a 15 minute wait. But, the waits are worth it... On a personal note, I wish the Monkfish... More

If you like seafood (or pizza) and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with large picture windows overlooking the waterway; this is the place to be. We go whenever we are in Marshfield for a late lunch/early dinner. Delicious food, very reasonably priced and excellent service. On this visit, I enjoyed their clam chowder (chowdah), boiled (female) lobster, mussels and their fresh... More
