Shrimp, scallops and Monkfish Piccata... a seaside setting... friendly service... a festive mood... What's not to like? Visits here are never disappointing. Although, on occasion there can be a long wait. Timing is important and we were fortunate on this occasion...only about a 15 minute wait. But, the waits are worth it... On a personal note, I wish the Monkfish... More

If you like seafood (or pizza) and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with large picture windows overlooking the waterway; this is the place to be. We go whenever we are in Marshfield for a late lunch/early dinner. Delicious food, very reasonably priced and excellent service. On this visit, I enjoyed their clam chowder (chowdah), boiled (female) lobster, mussels and their fresh... More

We lived near the Bridgewaye for 30 years, through good times and o.k. times. Retiring to a spot 85 miles distant, we've only gotten back sporadically, but have to say -on the basis of several recent visits, it is at its 'best ever'! One of the founders recipes - "Shrimp & Scallops Polcari" is so loaded with jewels from the... More

We had lunch here on a Sunday in March for a friend's birthday. I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and was anxious to try it. Never again!! The three of us all had a variety of dishes - from a salad special to two basic sandwiches on the menu. Let us just say it was... More

It's unfortunate to have to go out of my way to write a review about the Bridgewaye, especially because it is a not so great review and I have grown up dining at this restaurant. We went this past Saturday and were there by 5pm 3 adults 1 child. There was no wait but we wanted a window seat so... More

Been wondering about this place for awhile.Stopped by just to check it out and have a drink. Kelly the Bartender was great and we really enjoyed the view and the ambiance. Great location, good drinks and we ordered the rib appetizer to go. What a great choice. Delicious, tender and a great value. We will definitely be going back. Want... More

We just came back from a three day trip to Marshfield, Ma. We ate at the Bridgewaye on the first night. It was so good, we ate there all three nights! I have never been to a restaurant that does pizza, steak, and seafood well. They have onion strings that are as good as any I have tried, and I... More

By the river with the Atlantic a block away, you'll enjoy great views and very pleasant ambience. Polcari family brings something to this institution on Humarock beach south of Boston that is very special. Their menu is consistently good and they really work hard at both traditional pub food and kicking in something special. Every day. They'll wow you with... More

Never had a bad meal here. My favorite is baked stuffed Lobster, the BEST. Service is excellent. Beautiful view of the river and boats.
