This was a recommendation from a local. The fish was fresh and very good. The portion sizes were very large. Most things are fried on this menu which can make a heavy dinner so you may want to have salad on hand for the takeout although they do provide cole slaw with your meal. The fried bananas are definitely worth... More

Outside of Maine this is the best lobster roll around. The grilled bum is bursting with delicious fresh lobster. You have your choice of butter, mayo, or spicy mayo which you can get on the side if you want to bring the food home or just change locations. Definitely recommend this place. Only down side is they are closed now... More

If you just want a piece of local fare without sitting in a restaurant, this is the place. It's all take out that you can eat by a picnic table along the Cut River while watching the neighborhood kids dive into the water from the bridge. The fried whole belly clams are SWEET, sand free, and so perfectly fried that... More

Why travel to Maine when you can by fresh wonderful lobster from a local lobsterman? I love this place, and every visit is like a mini vacation.

No pretenses. Order at the window, chat while waiting, bring your food to the picnic tables by the river. The lobster roll is sinfully good and almost too big. It is exactly as it should be. Fried scallops and clams are great and the french fries hit the right notes. Come in the evening after the beach crowd has ebbed,... More

For seafood, you just can not do better than Green Ha'ba Lobsta Pound! I remembered this place from when I was a kid - when my parents introduced me to something called 'Lobsta Roll'... Forget the Clambake: you can't really claim to have had a true summer in New England unless you've had this local staple. The problem is, so... More

This is a takeout stand, though there are a couple of tables nearby to sit at. It is just steps from Green Harbor Beach, so it's a great place to stop for some terrific beach food. We had fried clams and fried scallops - deee-licious! Up there on my 3 best seafood places. It is a bit pricey (about $30... More

A little bit of heaven in Green Harbor. Great staff, awesome seafood and beautiful casual spot along the harbor. You can even take your fried clams down to the beach a few steps away. I love this place ......... casual outside eating and no heavy traffic to get there! Beats driving to the Cape!

One of the best tasting Lobsters i have ever had. As if they had reached into the adjacent harbor pulled out a lobster and gave it to me. Best onion rings around

Our family was staying in Marshfield this summer, and we stopped by Green Harbor Lobster Pound for fried clams, scallops, and fries. While we were ordering, we saw someone making the biggest lobster rolls we had ever seen, so we ordered one for the five of us to share. This is purely a take-out stand; last year, we ate fried...
