Turkey sandwiches. Out of this world. I'm a vegetarian now (have been for three years) and I still have to get one every time I'm in town because it reminds me of my childhood. Everything is homemade and wonderful, and I hope this place never ever closes.

But now the turkeys are just what you and I could get at the grocery. Still, its on the way to the beach, and the sandwiches aren't bad. If I want great locally raised turkey, I travel 15 minutes to Duxbury and go to Bongi's.

You can stop in and get a sandwich to go, or a fully cooked 25lb turkey with all the fixings. Have just started to serve ice cream which I have not tried. They also offer numerous home made frozen meals.

The new ice cream stand at Gerard's is wonderful - delicious ice cream and reasonable prices. Plus, it is in a location closer to the center of town.
