Based upon the reviews we decided to try this place for Sunday breakfast. It's not large and fills up fast so we decided to get there before noon. This was good as we were seated immediately. In true diner style you can get coffee (or tea) before you can even read the menu. We both highly recommend the home-made corned... More

Good coffee shop diner atmosphere, a tad busy noisy for Sunday brunch. Fast service once you are sat. Big serving sizes. And value. Great blue berry pancakes. Plenty of business and satisfied customers . Join 'em!

I was in town for a week on business and wanted to try a local favorite breakfast spot.. I found Jake's and since it was close to the hotel I decided to check it out. The staff, service and food were excellent, I sat at the counter next to a regular patron and ordered an omelet, he said he hoped... More

Best breakfast place around. Awesome combo choices, plenty of hot coffee, cold juice, wide selection including seasonal fare. They do serve lunch as well, but we've only done breakfast. Open til 2 Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 on Sunday. Sometimes have to wait to sit, small restaurant, but they do have a bar if you don't mind. Worth the trip

You definitely don't go here for the esthetics. It's small, a little dingy and smells like bacon but this dinner has the best breakfast. The homemade corn beef hash alone is worth the trip. My son said they were the best chocolate chip pancakes he's had. If you are not counting calories, try the loaded hash browns. Prices very reasonable.

My wife and I stopped here for a quick late breakfast on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was excellent as wss the food. Portions are American-sized and prepared perfectly. The French Toast is awesome!!!! We will definately be back and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My wife and I went here for a late breakfast during the week. The food and service were both excellent and the price was about half of what we would have expected. The French Toast, (as well as everything else), was awesome! !!! We will be back and will recommend this cafe to everyone.

We were in the area for a wedding and wanted to find a good local eatery for breakfast. We checked Tripadvisor and found Jake's and we were glad we did. We went on a Sunday morning at about 8:15 and the place was packed, but we were lucky enough to be seated immediately. Our waitress, Tracey Lee, couldn't have been... More

This used to be a restaurant to go to for a great breakfast. My past two visits have been unpleasant and unappetizing. The service was horrible. The servers spent more time gossiping and leaning over us while trying to eat. The food hash browns were cold, the eggs were over cooked and the bacon wasn't crispy. I could deal with... More

I went here on the recommendation of a local. The food is hearty and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, there is an overabundant amount of grease used when cooking. This resulted in an ensuing stomach ache. Perhaps if one eats here all the time, this is not an issue. However, I expected better food from a place that had quite... More
