Great local restaurant when visiting Marblehead. The chowder is thick and loaded with clams and potatoes. The addition of corn and ground pepper sets it apart from the usual.

I always enjoy having lunch or dinner at the Landing. Today was very cold and windy but the harbor was a beautiful sparkling blue and the lobster rolls were scrumptious. My friend started out with a Bloody Mary and I sipped on Prosecco. Our favorite server, Rory, was at his usual best with his quick wit and good humor. PanAm1961

Six of us got together for lunch prior to the mayhem of holiday travel plans. The Landing was perfect! A cheerful waitress served us delicious chowder, lobster rolls and even steak tips. Watching the lobster boats unload their hauls, the wintry water reflecting the gray skies, amid the happy chatter from neighboring tables helped us get into a holiday mood.

We lunched here yesterday. We were fortunate to sit by the window facing the water. Our server was professional and helpful. The food however was average. The scallops Provencal were OK (but couldn't taste any Provencal flavor), as were the clam chowder and the "seafit" salmon.

Enjoyed lunch recently with a large group of friends and everyone had a great time! Service was good and my crab cakes were excellent. And, of course, the view is terrific!

Though Marblehead is surround on three sides by ocean, there are few restaurants with views of the water and the town's iconic harbor. The Landing is one of them located at the end of State St. on the town pier. Diners have the chice of a pub room built around a bar and a casual dining room fronting on the... More

Once again another visit to the Landing Restaurant, for a week day lunch, and once again we enjoyed the views of the harbor and the delicious food. Rory, our waiter, is always a barrel of laughs, another good reason to go there. Can't wait for my next visit. Panam1961

B & B recommended we try this place for lunch. We weren't disappointed . Had a Bloody Mary with a shrimp, yummy. Chowder was also good.

I would give this restaurant another chance because the staff was unusually nice for a New England touristy restaurant (really!), and because the view was really, really great. The food also came quickly! But honestly, my poached eggs and bacon/fries were no where near as good as Denny's or Bickford's, and much more expensive. A restaurant like this should buy... More

Food here is great! The clam chowder is best anywhere In the world!!!!!! So good. We had lobster and it was excellent. I had pumpkin ale with a rim of sugar and cinamon. It was excellent, suggested by the waiter and unique as I had never seen beer served this way before. There is good bear selection. Not much to... More
