This place has the best breakfast in Marblehead. I was here 3 years ago and wanted to come back the moment I knew I was going back to this area. Today, I had the blueberry pancakes which were fabulous and huge. They were loaded with fresh blueberries. The side of sausage was 4 links and tasty. The coffee was ok... More

I had breakfast here every morning I was in Marblehead. The service, the portion size, the taste of the food, everything was excellent.

A local favorite. Right a the town landing where boats abound. A classic breakfast spot out of the 1950s. Mobbed on weekends. Try the fried dough -- have cinnamon and powdered sugar with it. Coffee is always good. Down-home, simple and worth a visit. Full of locals. Opens with the birds.

You must try the above, really good. It is where the locals go & I think it is the only place for "breakfast". Diner feel with good fast service, no pretensions just honest food.

Small restaurant that looks just like something from a movie set in a sea-side town in New England. It is where the locals go for breakfast! Only open form 6:00 a.m. - 2:00. Good breakfast and friendly service. Give it try...you will feel like you stepped back in time :-)

The Driftwood is the place the "locals" go for breakfast. It has that family feel and if you're a regular, the friendly waitstaff (especially our good friend, Jan) will have your drinks ready as you walk in the door. The chocolate chip pancakes are a great treat but if you want something on the healthy side, they offer a beautiful... More

The Driftwood is a lunch spot that fits in perfectly with the historic waterfront neighborhood. Nothing fancy here, just a good solid choice with very friendly people to serve you. The Stan Special is named after my father -in-law and consists of tuna with lettuce and tomato on dark bread. I don't know how many of these he ate but... More

We were lucky enough to stay in Marblehead before the Heads of the Charles in Boston. We found the Driftwood on morning one and from then on breakfast was sorted. Friendly and great food. A highlight of our stay.

The decor is cluttered and random but the food and service is great. Fried dough on the weekend can sometimes cause long lines. All the usual breakfast fare served quick with friendly conversation. Lots of regulars make this the place to be. You get to know the waitresses by name. Jan has been there since we can remember and we... More
