Restaurant is located on the Harbor overlooking breath-taking water views. We built up a hunger from walking around historic Marblehead, so we were looking forward to dinner at The Barnacle. Delicious corn bread was brought out. H and I shared onion rings, also battered with corn meal. The green salads were very good. H had the baked scallops. He said... More

The Barncle has a seating area that looks out over Marblehead Sound. Of course, there's not much to look at after sundown, but before...? The also have really good seafood chowder.

Best fresh fish and Chips , fried clams ,lobster roll. Great fish entrees at reasonable cornices. Fresh caught in Marblehead waters great selection to choose from and enjoy. Enjoy sitting out on small deck looking out at great sailboats and fishing boats. Great for famille outing ,A couple will enjoy a romantic view while dinning on great food . Good... More

Marblehead is worth a detour. Marvelous little cove with an incredible collection of homes dating back to the late 1600's. Restaurant is off the beaten path a bit, situated on the water with a view as good as it gets. Food itself is rather plain good -- chowder, seafood platter, baked haddock -- get kind of spoiled in this part... More

Last night my husband and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. We spent the day exploring Rockport, MA and then headed to dinner in Marblehead. We really had no idea where to go...we were just going to see what the day brought us. We stopped at The Landing first since it had one parking space left in the small lot... More

This retraunt has good seafood but also great healthy food as while as sandwiches and burgers. It makes you feel like you are in true New England sea shore land. It is a little tight inside but it has an amazing outdoor view of the bay

We had a late lunch, sitting outside on the patio with view to the ocean. Very friendly staff, lobster roll with a let's say half hand of lobster meat for 20$ a little pricy I think, but tasty. We had a good time here. My wife had baked haddock, which was reallllly good, very fresh and tasty!! Parking around that... More

I have been eating at The Barnacle for twenty plus years; this place embodies reliability for consistently good food. This restaurant may not be "fit for foodies" , but it's the "foodies" who will miss out. If you seek out fresh delicious seafood, simply and honestly prepared, this is it. Small and rustic inside, it boasts the best ocean views... More

This is not the best place to bring the inlays, but it does have great lobster deals. Reminded us of the bar in The Perfect Storm. So if you want a bit of local flair, and great lobster this is the place to come. If you want more elegant fair other there are many options in Marblehead that will fit... More

This is a great place to eat seafood with the wonderful views of Marblehead's bay and its hundreds of boats. It's nothing fancy, but you get fresh, well prepared seafood. We tried the lobster bisque, the seafood platter and the fish and chips. Very good... Service was nice and friendly. I had to set up for bottled beer, but nobody... More
