Front Street, a narrow, winding street in Marblehead, is located on the water. The Barnacle Restaurant has one of my favorite seafood platters and deep fried, of course. The location overlooks the ocean and the atmosphere is pub-like with local food and friends.

I take a visitor to Boston here for lunch every year or two. In summer especially we go for the lobster rolls, but the entire menu is delicious and we try different seafood or fish specialties. The service is good and prices are fair. Of course, the view across the bay is fantastic! If there is a table, sit on... More

Worth visiting for the view and the atmosphere. The indoors bar seemed to be popular by the locals. We sat on the outdoors patio which is a bit cramped. The food was not as good as at the Landing, but decent and the service was friendly.

We stopped here for lunch and were lucky enough to get an outside table overlooking the water. The service was very friendly, helpful and quick. We had chowder to start, followed by fish and chips. Both were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Had a glass of wine from the good wine list. Everybody seemed to be enjoying their meals. Really friendly... More

Loved this restaurant. Ate there 3 times in 4 days. We liked sitting outside. Evening view is great. Right on the water. Service was awesome and so was the food.

Based on the recommendation of a store clerk in town we decided to walk down to the Barnacle for our Friday dinner. This place is right on the waterfront and upon seeing someone smoking inside we opted for the patio/deck overlooking the water. Although the two person table was small it was a beautiful view over the water. I started... More
