Consistently great food and terrific service at decent prices! So glad we can get our Mediterranean food fix right here in Marblehead!
This is a first class restaurant in a suburban town. The food, service, & contemporary atmosphere are all first class. Expect to pay above average.
If you're looking for some real Mediterranean fare, this is a great place with an even better price point. The foul mudamas is a fantastic appetizer, and their salads with homemade greek dressing are amazing. Only complaint: sandwiches on pita are often dry - ask for dressing to go with!
This place is great for wraps. They have a dining area, but I wouldn't call them a restaurant, but if you are looking to grab a quick lunch bite or do take out, this is a great place for that! Personally I am a big fan of the spicy caribean wrap!
We were in Marblehead on March 23 2013 and looking for a lunch place. We happened upon Le Bistro-what a delightful find! We have traveled extensively and had Mediterranean food in many places. This was undoubtedly some of the best ever. The lightest most delectable Falafel- crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside. The lentil soup... More
My wife and I visited Marblehead on August 11, 2012. We chose to eat at Le Bistro based on it's primarily Mediterranean cuisine and it's reviews. Le Bistro is located on a corner, perhaps four or five blacks from the historic Marblehead district. We were able to find a parking spot on an adjacent strret about 1/2 block away. We... More
Had a great dinner here and the food and service was the best I have had in a long long time. This is a small restaurant with great food and top notch service.
Fantastic! I've lived and travelled a lot throughout the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Southwest Asia ... this is the real deal! Lebanese owner Salim and his server were exceptionally hospitable. Salim steered us right on a really nice Greek wine. Appetizers and main courses were authentically prepared, generously sized, and absolutely exquisite to the taste. Baklava and assorted pastries were... More
This well-run restaurant is in a tiny little storefront they turned into a cozy, simple but pleasing, dining establishment. I meet friends here for lunch and we do take-out a lot as well. As expected, their middle eastern food is very good, my family likes the shiskabob dinners, the grilled vegetable roll ups and the hummus/babganoush/tabouli/falafel plate but the biggest... More
We read the Boston Globe article and had to visit. Our experience was even better than the article. What a wonderful little cafe. Warm welcome and absolutely wonderful cooking. Everything was fresh, clean and very tasty. We had the bistro platter to get a sample of foods and shared the kebab entree. A large bowl of soup came with the... More
