If so, Try Mateus. It has the ambiance of an old Italian resturaunt in NYC, except the décor is all Portugal. If you've ever been to Portugal( I have, a few times) you'll love the food at Mateus. I love their spicy shrimp. Brings back fond memories

Excellent food. Generous portions and very rarely crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. Good traditional Portuguese food. Casual atmosphere. Check out the specials. The server is very friendly, accomodating and will take the time to explain and/or recommend.

First-time visit, impressed with clean, simple decor, friendly greeting. Enjoyed two varieties of Portugese beer with appetizers: homemade fried shrimp cakes (Rissois de Camarao) and sausage "served over flames" (Chourica Assada em Aguardente) grilled in an amusing crockery pig. The kale soup--with creamy potato stock--was a bit bland. Followed by grilled calamari and shrimp kebabs (one of the "specials"), and... More

This place is a great choice for delicious Portuguese food, and I have never eaten a bad meal here. My go-to meal is a Bifana and fries, but the Pork Alentejana is another stand-out. Save room for dessert, especially if you like chocolate mousse.
