This restaurant is unbelievably delicious food. I have tried several different dishes, and all of the excellent. Fish tandori is my favorite. The restaurant itself is small, and can get crowded. They also do takeout.

Who would think that there was excellent Indian cuisine in Lexington, MA? Not me. But there is. This restaurant gets crowded fast, and there is a reason. The food is really really good. They know how to use the palate of Indian spices. We really enjoyed our meal.

Great Indian food! Great service and nice atmosphere! It's a favorite of mine. Haven't had anything I didn't like here. Amazing naan. Drinks are good too.

The moment we walked into the Royal Indian Bistro, we knew we had made the correct decision. This cafe sized restaurant was full upon arrival. The atmosphere was vibrant and there were numerous Indian families dining (good sign). The wait was not long and we were immediately notified when the table was ready. The papadums (crispy Indian bread) appetizer reminded... More

Being in the area for business we were getting a little bored of standard fare food offerings so went out to look for something a little different. We stumbled across this restaurant in the middle of Lexington. It was really busy, which was a good sign. There were Indian people eating inside - another good sign. We asked for a... More

We were craving Indian food, so we decided to try this cute little place. We generally get our Indian food in Cambridge, so we were hoping for the best. It is a tiny place, but clean and cozy. Hubby had the lunch special for $10.95, which consisted of raitha, naan, chicken tikka masala, vegetable curry and pakora. I had the... More

I love Indian food, so I had to try this place and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Curry, and Naan. All were very good. The restaurant itself is really small -- only nine tables. It doesn't take much to fill this place up, so you may end up rubbing shoulders with your neighbors. If you... More

Having lived in London for over 10 years, I have become 'addicted' to Indian food. Chicken Jalfrezi is my litmus test for any Indian restaurant. It's not on their menu, but they made it for me anyway. It was all delicious. I ate far too much and was in a pleasant food coma!!!! I can't wait to go back with... More

Their lunch special (thali with nan, rice, raitha, choice of 3 dishes) for $10.95 is a great value. Their North Indian dishes are excellent. While they offer some South Indian dishes (uthampam, dosa, etc), they are not on par with their North Indian dishes. We love this place for lunch, dinner and takeout. It is really the best Indian restaurant... More

Dinner after working late one night, with work colleagues. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala (Boneless diced chicken tandoori cooked in a creamy tomato sauce) - it was very good and spiced just right. For dessert - my colleague suggested the Gulab Jamun (A north Indian sweet dessert, delicious light pastry ball made from milk fried and soaked in the... More
