Order a Rachel

Our family (2 adults, 4 kids 10 and under) spent the day doing the historical tour in Lexington. This was a delicious mid-day stop. The pickles were a huge hit - especially the 1/2 sour pickles. The Avenue Deli provides just the right menu for sandwiches and drink to eat out on the Lexington Green. The food is good and the picnic table near the Monroe Tavern is the perfect setting for being startled by musket fire as the reenactment of the Battle of Lexington commences as you await the 2:30 Tour Bus.

Place bills itself as NYC style deli, but serves up Boars Head meats. They are decent but nothing special. Can get Boars Head at Stop& Shop. Overall, very average.

We walked up and down the main street in Lexington looking for a quick lunch, to eat on the Green. Settled on the Avenue Deli, ordered our food, service was so quick, and the prices were very reasonable. They also had gluten free bread available. The sandwiches were also grilled a la Panini, which was a pleasant surprise. Stop there:)

Came here with my husband and parents after visiting the Minute Man Park. It's mostly just deli meat, and I'm pregnant so I had to get a hot sandwich. My mom and I both got the Ruben which was delicious. Plenty of meat and not too much Russian dressing. My husband got the Paul Revere which he also enjoyed and... More

Peet's has reliably good coffee, friendly staff and tasty baked goods. The atmosphere is relaxed, there's free WiFi and children are welcome. I've been going to Peet's since it opened in town. Peet's also has some really nice teas. It may be the only place I've been where iced coffee or tea doesn't taste watered down. Peet's frozen beverages have... More

Stopped in for the first time today for a pleasant surprise. A great little deli in the center of Lexington! Who would have thought it possible?! :)

You can't go wrong with a place that offers avocado on every sandwich. Boars Head meats, Mexican Coke in the fridge. I'm particularly fond of the Rachel. And I've never had anything but service with a big smile. Nice, nice team.

Best sandwich, large and the wheat bread is wonderful. Fresh and quality ingredients. I go often and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and will make any combination you suggest.
