Great food before or after touring Lexington

We purchased food here before the Liberty Ride Trolley. Really GREAT customer service experience. And the sandwiches were DELICIOUS!!! We ate across the street on park benches at the Lexington Visitors Center.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and the menu was very expansive. We ordered the club sandwich and is was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is both friendly and helpful.

Sandwiches are very large. My husband and I shared a turkey club with bacon and it was filling and delicious...this coming from someone who is not a big fan of deli sandwiches.

Not worth the stop. Sandwiches are decent, other menu items are cheap. Quick service but not personable. I was disappointed, expecting a place rated so highly to be better.

A friendly, fast place to duck in and pick up a very generously sized sandwich made to order. Many different creative sandwich options (my husband especially enjoyed his "Thanksgiving dinner" sandwich with roast turkey, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce). A wide variety of kettle chips and cold drinks complete what you need. With only two stand-up tables and four swivel... More

After spending the morning in Lexington, we were looking for something quick before heading over to Concord, but NOT more burgers! LOL! We found this place just a block from the visitors center and the line was short. We each ordered different sandwiches, many different kinds available, lots of drinks and chips to add on. There isn't much space for... More

Our family (2 adults, 4 kids 10 and under) spent the day doing the historical tour in Lexington. This was a delicious mid-day stop. The pickles were a huge hit - especially the 1/2 sour pickles. My daughter said her Turkey Club was "amazing"! My husband and I both had Rachel's...and they were incredible. My son ordered the chili and... More

The Avenue Deli provides just the right menu for sandwiches and drink to eat out on the Lexington Green. The food is good and the picnic table near the Monroe Tavern is the perfect setting for being startled by musket fire as the reenactment of the Battle of Lexington commences as you await the 2:30 Tour Bus.

Place bills itself as NYC style deli, but serves up Boars Head meats. They are decent but nothing special. Can get Boars Head at Stop& Shop. Overall, very average.

We walked up and down the main street in Lexington looking for a quick lunch, to eat on the Green. Settled on the Avenue Deli, ordered our food, service was so quick, and the prices were very reasonable. They also had gluten free bread available. The sandwiches were also grilled a la Panini, which was a pleasant surprise. Stop there:)
