Slow

The service was terrific....the kitchen VERY slow. The food was great once we got it. We were with another couple, so we had a very lovely....lengthy....visit.

An array of hot pancakes, french toast, and omlettes cooked to your desire. Huge selection of healthy and unhealthy foods for everyone. Memorable atmosphere with employees from long ago and fresh new faces. Resort really cares about their staff.

Mediocre, salty, cold food. Not worth the money. Only the wine was good. Go to Table Six or The Blantyre instead.

Very pretty, warm, romantic room, but food and service left a lot to be desired!! Both of the ahi tuna dishes were over cooked, the veal chop was sent back and came back no better; the rack of lamb was acceptable! The server was not that good, seemed like they may have been understaffed but definitely not sold out... All... More

Perhaps the best veal chop I've ever had. The wife had the beef tenderloin and liked it so much...I got a small bite and she finished her plate...which rarely happens. Darlene knew just when to approach the table. A very enjoyable meal.

The room itself is very dated and needs to be updated. They should take some lessons from there neighbors at Blantyre and Wheatley. They are way overpriced for very low quality food. Both of us found the food to be average at best to disliked.

Duck breast overcooked. Steak overcooked. Service overlooked. This is a wonderful room. It just needs a great waitstaff and an exemplary chef and sous to make it live up to its price. Or they need to get their heads out of the ground, read the reviews, listen to the feedback and react.

This was our favorite meal of our trip to the Berkshires. I had dinner there with my sisters after spending the afternoon in the Cranwell Spa and we couldn't have imagined better. We got there a little early so had cocktails on the terrace looking out over the hills and lawns with the flowering trees in bloom. Dinner took us... More

Looove this restaurant! Please ask for Claudine as your server! She is a gem! The atmosphere is stunning with a wonderful menu to match!

Very pretty dining room in the castle. Food was very good but disappointed in the Caesar salad portion size. It was $9.50 and the teensiest salad I've ever had. What a rip off! Signature tart was very good. The lamb shank was excellent and my husband enjoyed his strip steak, although he asked for medium rare and it was rare,... More
