A Bit pretentious

Good, if expensive, menu but no figs or squash blossoms despite delicious descriptions on the menu which as disappointing.

We ate here in April. The food is fine but not spectacular. For these prices, I expect more. Service was good.

Located in an intimate room with limited seating, elegant service was delivered to a casually attired clientele. Gourmet cuisine. Prepared perfectly. I particularly enjoyed the berry gazpacho soup. The halibut was nicely done on a bed of risotto. The service was excellent. The view of the Berkshires was amazing. Try to get a window table.

My last evening in the Berkshires was spent with a tour, dinner and the show Capitol Steps (comedy/musical/political satire) at Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club in Lenox. The resort has 114 rooms and suites in eight buildings, including the 100-year-old Tudor-style mansion, built at the end of the 19th Century. Frederick Law Olmsted also designed the 580-acre property. Dinner... More

My husband and I dined at the Wyndhurst Room recently and I just had to write a review, mainly because I was very impressed with the staff. We had the pleasure of seeing Pascal again (used to see him all the time at the Blantyre), and he was great and helpful as usual. Helped us with what to do in... More

We loved the room, the food and the staff. So convenient to have fine dining just a short walk from our room. We'll be back!

This is one of the hidden gems of Berkshire County. The terrace that overlooks the Berkshire hills is a spectacular place to sit, relax and enjoy a cocktail. We then moved into the formal dining room led by the maitre d, Pascal. He shared some of the history of the room, which has exquisite carved woodwork throughout. Our dinner was... More

An array of hot pancakes, french toast, and omlettes cooked to your desire. Huge selection of healthy and unhealthy foods for everyone. Memorable atmosphere with employees from long ago and fresh new faces. Resort really cares about their staff.
