the portions are generous, the food is fresh; a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers and salads, and more.

This place was just awful. There was a total lack of service and the food was some of the worst I have ever consumed. Eating here was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had at a restaurant.

The restaurant is located in the beautiful Cranwell Resort. The service was very friendly and informal. The food however lacked imagination. It was uninspiring bar food- not great but not bad either. It could become a popular destination for the hotel guests and others who are visiting, if they spent time and effort enhancing the menu and flavors.

Sloan's has hit an all-time low. It is not a nice little dining option that it used to be. One table unbelievably had a full blown poker game taking place...at another a rowdy group was yelling at the hockey game on tv. It felt more like a seedy bar room than part of a supposedly first class golf resort. Never... More

It was different and the salads were all fresh from a local farm.Good coffee too. Quick, courteous and friendly service adds to the pleasure of dining there.

Part of my ritual when staying at Cranwell is to end with a burger at Sloane's. The burgers are fantastic...the drinks even better. If you're staying in the winter, try a nor'easter!

Typical bar food, but a decent range of selections on the menu and all the food was very nice. The bar staff in particular were so friendly and interesting to chat to - and poured some seriously strong Dark and Stormys....!

So glad and appreciate a selection of healthy vegetarian foods. Not all of us are meat eaters! Love the cole slaw!

We ate at the Tarven during our weekend stay at Cranwell. The food was very good for a pub style eatery, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is nothing special but the wait staff were friendly and accommodating, especially for our son who has a peanut allergy. The loaded potato skins are the best anywhere. Sloan's is right on... More

My husband and I opted for a casual dinner here while staying at Cranwell. It was a quiet Monday night so only a skeleton crew was working. Service lacked professionalism and food was also mediocre. The menu has a nice variety of choices and highlights all the local and homemade dishes. Unfortunately, the kitchen does not deliver on the image... More
