I went to Jonathan's at the recommendation of my hotel (Hampton Inn and Suites). It was perfect for me, as it was close to the hotel (driving--5 minutes), and I ate there alone very comfortably. Had a very good salmon entree. Highly recommended.

I like Jonathan's and have been there several times for business lunches. I think the food is high quality and quite good, but it is pretty expensive and the menu is very brief...not a lot of choices. The service tends to be slower than most places and the waitstaff are a bit too aloof for me. I don't get a...

Jonathan's Bistro is popular apparently and was highly recommended by many people we asked including the front desk clerks at our hotel. Our experience -- one visit -- was that service was inattentive and food was very average. It took an inordinately long time for a server to come to our table even though there were few customers, he took...

very nice rest. very good food, yummy french fries, nice atmosphere not too fancy for Lenox which is a PLUS
This restaurant served the best seafood during our trip to New England. The fried scallops were perfection. They were large, plentiful and cooked perfectly. The dinner salad was fine, but the various sides offered were a pleasant surprise after fries and more fries. The coconut cream pie was a delicious end to the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and service...

Waiter was a real gem on our first visit. Knew the menu, didn't ever leave us feeling neglected even though he was serving as maitre d and waiting tables inside and out.
Although Jonathan's is esentially located in a strip shopping center on a busy stretch of Route 20, landscaping and careful placement of an awning over the outdoor tables...

Took sandwiches out. Portion size was good, but nothing special. Tuna was a bit bland, and the chicken also ok.
This was my first trip to this part of New England and it was truly spectacular. I had made reservations previously and we arrived a bit early for lunch. What a quaint and charming place. We were one of the firsts to arrive for lunch so it was very quiet. By the time we finished it was packed. I recommend...

I cannot think of one visit to Jonathan's where the food was disappointing. If I had to knock it down to a less than excellent experience, it was the server. We've had him before but the most recent visit he was less than attentive. The restaurant was not crowded yet he complained to us that customers at another table were...

Each year when we come to the Berkshires, we meet a good friend for lunch at Jonathan's Bistro in Lenox. We ate on the patio out front as it wasn't a hot day so typical of this past summer. The sandwiches were very good. The atmosphere either inside or outside is pleasant.
