This restaurant has been in business for awhile now. Not like a lot of restaurants in the area that only last a few years. They have a nice partly covered deck area which is wonderful to enjoy lunch or dinner on. The service was pretty good. We did have to wait a little while for our meals but we had... More

While on our yearly visit to Tanglewood and the Berkshires we ate dinner at Church Street Café and it was one of the best meals we've had in a restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent care from the wait staff and a delicious meal all made for a great dining experience. My wife and I both had the Pot Roasted Misty Knoll... More

My wife and I had dinner at Church Street Café once again this year. It's become one of our favorite spots when visiting Tanglewood. We started with a Caesar Salad, gluten free (without croutons) and it was excellent, including the requisite anchovies and freshly grated parmesan. My pork chop was done perfectly, and my wife's salmon was also excellent. Wine... More

Had reservation at the Cork and Hearth, but a power outage prevented them from opening for dinner. We went into Lenox hoping to find a restaurant that had seating availability, and stumbled on Church Street Cafe. Great dinner. They do make very, very strong drinks. Fortunately, our B&B was walking (stumbling) distance.

Sister restaurant of Alta just up the street. The service was almost as good. The food was tasty with a mediteranean bent. Enjoyable and almost great. The lamb curry dish lacked imangination (light on the curry) but was quite good. If you were to eat in Lenox, this is a fine choice.

This restaurant has been a part of Lenox dining for a long time. It was always good, but now under new management it has been raised to a new level. The service is excellent and the new menu features local and healthy choices for summer meals.

Make reservations and plan to leave here no later than 7:20pm to be on time for an 8pm performance at Tanglewood. Steak frites was delicious. Prompt friendly service. A very popular place, with good reason.

We enjoyed this lunch spot sitting on the porch with a great beet and kale salad along with flatbread. I wish the flatbread had less bread, thin and crisp for me, but it tasted very good. Enjoyable area. The fan broke under neath the awning so it was a bit hot.

We had a wonderful meal at the church street cafe, no doubt our appreciation was also helped by it being a perfect June evening so we were able to enjoy the very nice terrace. The staff were helpful, the service (despite being busy) was paced just right and the pan seared salmon was one of the best ever!
