This is one of my favorite places in Lenox. The deck is beautiful, food is fresh and delicious. It's lovely and relaxing. I am not saying that this is going to be one of the best meals of your life or a gourmet extravaganza -- it's a pretty and relaxing setting with just the type of food I enjoy eating.... More

We ate here July 26, 2014 on the recommdendation from a docent at Naumkeag. The place was packed and that day Lenox itself was packed. I ordered the burger and fries and my partner had the turkey wrap with greens. His meal was fine but my burger was past well done after I specified medium. I should have returned it... More

Service good, food good, and fresh, but not spectacular. worth it for the location and the vibe on the outdoor porch, tho. Make a reservation if it's a weekend. very popular.

It is really difficult to get a 6pm reservation in Lenox because literally thousands of music lovers are doing exactly the same thing at the same time in order to get to Tanglewood for the 8:30pm concerts. We had a few recommended restaurants on our list and the only one that would give us a 6pm reservation was Church Street... More

This restaurant has been in business for awhile now. Not like a lot of restaurants in the area that only last a few years. They have a nice partly covered deck area which is wonderful to enjoy lunch or dinner on. The service was pretty good. We did have to wait a little while for our meals but we had... More

While on our yearly visit to Tanglewood and the Berkshires we ate dinner at Church Street Café and it was one of the best meals we've had in a restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent care from the wait staff and a delicious meal all made for a great dining experience. My wife and I both had the Pot Roasted Misty Knoll... More

My wife and I had dinner at Church Street Café once again this year. It's become one of our favorite spots when visiting Tanglewood. We started with a Caesar Salad, gluten free (without croutons) and it was excellent, including the requisite anchovies and freshly grated parmesan. My pork chop was done perfectly, and my wife's salmon was also excellent. Wine... More

Had reservation at the Cork and Hearth, but a power outage prevented them from opening for dinner. We went into Lenox hoping to find a restaurant that had seating availability, and stumbled on Church Street Cafe. Great dinner. They do make very, very strong drinks. Fortunately, our B&B was walking (stumbling) distance.

Sister restaurant of Alta just up the street. The service was almost as good. The food was tasty with a mediteranean bent. Enjoyable and almost great. The lamb curry dish lacked imangination (light on the curry) but was quite good. If you were to eat in Lenox, this is a fine choice.

This restaurant has been a part of Lenox dining for a long time. It was always good, but now under new management it has been raised to a new level. The service is excellent and the new menu features local and healthy choices for summer meals.
