Went to the restaurant with set expectations as we had previously had a really nice meal here, although long ago. It was a weekend night and the restaurant was fairly busy. We got drinks quickly and they were really good. That was the only thing that was really good. I was with a large party and we ordered a number... More

We try to have lunch or dinner at Zinc on most of trips to or through Lenox. We always enjoy the food, service and ambiance. We especially like the French influenced menu from salads to steak-frites. Most recently, we ate at the bar but the dining room is always full of interesting people enjoying well-prepared selections.

We always make a visit to Zinc when we are on our way to an evening concert at Tanglewood. We have been doing this now for five or six seaons. The restaurant always pleases, particularly when we ask for seating in the front room, away from the bar. The service is warm, friendly and pleasant. And the entrees are delicious We... More

Over the years my wife and I have enjoyed many a fine meal at Zinc, but since they lost their long time chef, the food has been mediocre to say the very least. The first time I ate a meal prepared by the new chef I ordered the BOEUF BOURGUIGNON. What came was not Boeuf Bourguignon, which is a kind... More

We had a very bad dinner at Zinc. Started with my Martini, straight up. It came, not filled to the top of the glass. It was about 2/3 filled. When was the last time you saw a Martini straight up and the glass not filled to the top? Next came the onion soup. It was quite good, thick and lots... More

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The food is another issue. I ordered the duck breast with some vegetables. The duck came out twice and was well done each time. The vegetables were tasteless and not seasoned. You could count the corn pieces on one hand. They say you eat with your eyes first. This was the poorest visual... More

We had both a nice, informal working lunch in the bar area and then returned for dinner. It was the best of the meals that we had in Lenox during a pleasant weekend. French Bistro-style.

We stopped in late Sunday night when most places were already closed. Lucky for us! The Zinc Bistro is attractive and the food very tasty. Our sever was friendly too. The carafe of wine was a good choice. Be sure and try this restaurant

The bistro is quite elegant and the food was tasty in this Berkshires restaurant close to Tanglewood and Jacob's Pillow. I enjoyed the duck breast. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable.

Portions were very small and expensive for what they were. I will not be in a hurry to go back. Service was ok
