This place is a joke and defines folie à trois. It's clients are as pretentious as the wait staff. The food comes close to being good but falls short on quality and quantity. Please visit the place if you require a good laugh. Cheers.

I was disappointed by our dinner at Zinc. The food was good, but not interesting and in many cases lacking in flavor. The service was extraordinarily slow. When we raised the issue the waitress and manager were not responsive or willing to do anything to make up for the problems. I should note that the room is beautiful and the... More

My wife and I had drinks and dinner on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Nice bar area with no TV's, a nice touch. Modest but high-end liquor selection. Very lovely bartender. Don't know her name. Tall, slim, brunette. It was quite busy. James Taylor was playing Tanglewood so Lenox was all abuzz as it always is when he plays. Great atmosphere.... More

I had a wonderful meal at Zync. The food was very good - we shared a bunch of dishes and the restaurant was so accommodating and split everything onto two plates. The restaurant is also very cute and fits so nicely into the New England town.

We had friends here for a couple of days from North Carolina. As we thought about where to take them it was suggested that we try Bistro Zinc in Lenox. Well we did and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderfully prepared and the service was excellent. Need I say more!

Zinc is a charming restaurant divided into two sections: the bar that has the traditional zinc covered bar and the light airy restaurant. The menu includes cpq au vin, pork schnitzel & boeuf bourgignon. Our party tried alo three and found them delicious. The only drawback (while good) was the slow service. The waitress indicated that some staff were no-shows.... More

Bistro Zinc is a beautiful place, a touch French-bistro-looking but actually more modern and spare, with lovely vases of flowers to enhance the clean look of pale wood, zinc (yes, on the windowsills and the bar) and retro black and white tiled floor. The food is pretty too although we felt the chef had a bit heavy hand on the... More

My trout with crab and green beans was outstanding and prior to that I had peach and plum gazpacho (I had my doubts but it tasted great). My wife had the moules frites and she loved it. It is a little pricey and the atmosphere a bit stuffy but the food was top notch.

I went to Zinc last night for the second time. As was the case the first time, we had a very enjoyable meal. The first time there, I had steak frites, which was very good. Last night, salmon. The portion might have seemed small to some, but it was more than enough for me. The others in our party last... More
