Enjoyed breakfast here

Our family of four enjoyed our breakfast at this eco-friendly/supporter-of-local-products/charmingly simple yet hip establishment. Service was friendly and attentive. I had a really delicious lunch at Spoon, delicious soup special and a really great grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread. The food was perfect and the ambience was relaxed and fun. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. This is the place to go linger over a hot coffee, a hot meal, and catch up with family or friends.

Food was A++. My "very good" rating is that low because of less-important things. It was very busy, so a few small groups were waiting. On our way in, a departing patron said, "It's worth the wait," and she was right! Seems the bottleneck was the bus-persons. Tables and seats were cute and creative but could have been cleaner --... My wife and I dropped into Spoon for lunch. Healthy food made fresh. We shared a Hungarian mushroom soup (broth based, lots of flavor). She had a smoked salmon salad, one of their staples. I had a quinoa salad with roasted chicken. The mustard balsamic dressing delicious. We will be back!

The breakfast was amazing. Really great coffee. Breakfast burrito was OK. Would have been better with a salsa. Chorizo sausage was great though. Ham omelette received rave reviews as did the home fries which were appropriately overcooked and charred. Fried chicken and pancake had great flavor, chicken was moist, and good portion for a hungry Sunday morning dinner. The staff... More

The place is kind of small with minimal decor, but the reason to go is the food. The menu has a nice variety and good take on some traditional dishes. We ordered the smoked salmon omelet, the yogurt and granola, a side of two eggs and bacon. Everything was very fresh and who would have thought putting jalapeños in a... More

We stopped after visiting The Mount, for a late lunch. Breakfast is served all day so my husband had the eggs and quinoa, along with a banana nut muffin. The muffin was split in half and toasted, a neat idea that added some extra nuttiness. I had the mushroom and artichoke sandwich and was happy I tried something new. The... More

Had a great lunch here several years ago, so we decided to try it for breakfast. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection: omelets, potatoes, pancakes. The coffee was wonderful, both regular and decaf. But the cost was $45, rather more than one would expect for a good breakfast. But we had no regrets.
