AVOID. This is a French, self service cafe. You order at a counter and they give you a number to put on your table. The counterperson was disintetested in helping us understand the menu. Actually, not helpful in the least. She was actually rude and unpleasant who turned what could have been a pleasant lunch into a miserable experience. We... More

Dear TastyBake, I am very sorry for your negative experience on the day you visited our cafe. It sounds like we must have been very busy at that particular moment. Sometimes there just isn't enough time to run out and clean the tables outside instantly as soon as the previous customers have left, and/or install the roll of paper towels... More

This is a French patisserie and it is very good at what it does-i.e., French pastries. It also offers selection of three breakfast dishes, including eggs any way you want them for $8.50 (August 2014). The French press coffee was excellent; espresso and lattes very good to excellent. Regular coffee somewhat above average. Atmosphere generally authentic with French music playing... More

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were happy that we did. The food was fresh and well prepared. Service was friendly and prompt. Be sure to try the borscht as it was out of this world. Our sandwiches were also tasty. You won't be disappointed.

Patisserie Lenox is a small café in the heart of town, with a very quaint interior that is cozy in the colder months and has outdoor seating in the summer. The minute you enter the patisserie you are overwhelmed with delicious aromas. The almond croissants are second to none, fresh with plenty of marzipan filling. In addition to the pastries... More

Dear Customer, Thank you for the wonderful words about our cafe. We will keep doing our best to maintain the highest quality of products and services! As for our recycling practices, maybe the salesperson was not specific (or else, I need to go over that with them), we do recycle glass and paper products. Our recycling service company, though, does... More

I went to Patisserie for a perfect lunch with my sisters during our visit to the Berkshires. We had their quiche and then, of course, some pastries. The quiche was very good, but the pastries were the highlight. The cases were filled with beautiful, temptations making it so hard to choose! I particularly loved the Napoleon and the raspberry-chocolate brioche.... More

I love going to this pastry shop in Lenox. I have friends, who live nearby, that haven't heard of this sweet delight. Very tasty macaroons, cookies, brownies, etc. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't comment on that. I purchased a tea latte here. They also have specials of salads and sandwiches. If sweets or treats are your desire... More

We went here for dessert and coffee after hitting Alta for lunch on a snowy day, and it was absolute perfection. It was the highlight of my trip. I ordered a french press coffee and we ordered a pastry and a mousse to share. The sweets were excellent and the coffee some of the best I've had and exactly what... More

I was so disappointed! After purchasing pastries and coffee, then taking a walk, and coming back when one of the employees refused to let me use the rest room, Her words… "we have no public bathroom". When I told her I was there less than a half and hour before purchasing many pastries (there were nine of us and she... More

Dear customer, I am deeply sorry for your outrageous experience in our shop. Like for any small business, it is very hard for us to find the right staff to truly represent it. Hearing about your bad experience breaks my heart, and I am very grateful for your feedback. I had long discussions with all of the employees about the... More

This place has great pastries, but what good is it if they treat customers as a nuissance. I do not have aspecific incidence to point to, but from the moment you enter the place, it feels like one is not welcome. No hello how are you or any friendly interaction. Even the best pastries are hard to enjoy in such... More

Lovely shop and very appetizing for me but not a single lunch option for my 10 year old. I would call the lunch menu eclectic which is not for everyone. The most generic option was the caprese salad, but they were out if it. We would have loved to try one of the bakery items but wanted lunch first. We... More
