Great breakfast. It is very busy so you may have a wait but it is well worth it. Right in town and easy to get to.
At first, we were hesitant because you have to stand in line to place your order. You then get a number that you put on your table and your meal is brought out to you. As soon as we walked in the door, a gentleman with the restaurant found a table for us and "held it" with a scarf over... More
This place is by no means a secret, but it is worth getting up a bit earlier to beat the line and partake of the delicious brunch they serve here on weekends! Stuffed french toast was more like a bread budding topped with raspberries and marscapone and the delicate omelet stuffed with manchego and ham was a treat. The man... More
We had an enjoyable lunch today at Haven today. Good coffee, good soups and salads. Lots of tasty, healthy, and gluten free options. Try it, it is very good.
Favorable reviews lead me to choose Haven Cafe & Bakery for Sunday brunch with my husband. The staff is super friendly! The choices were great and the food was AWESOME. The soup that I had was so good that I tried to bribe the server for the recipe. No luck! I wished that we would have had time to visit the cafe more than once on our Lenox visit.
It was busy, it was tasty and it was quick service. A cup of soup, followed by Beet & Goats Cheese Salad. This was fresh and very flavoursome, which I thoroughly enjoyed. John enjoyed a fabulous chicken curry salad followed by a lime frosted ginger cake, which was big enough for 2. Generous portions, great light bites and a good... More
This place is cute but VERY noisy, with sound echoing everywhere - panels or something are needed to muffle things a bit. I don't like a restaurant (especially on a Sunday morning) where I have to struggle to catch every word from someone sitting across the table from me. My mother ordered the chai and wasn't thrilled with it. It... More
I ordered the acorn squash bisque; it was rich and creamy with a beautiful yellow/orange hue. Delicious! Best ever. I also had Oscar's chicken stew, which was very tasty, but not as memorable as the acorn squash bisque. The atmosphere is very similar to Esselon Cafe in Hadley MA, with some large, antique community tables along with several 2 and... More
