I have been to Nudel on two other occasions, once for lunch and once for dinner. My last visit was in May, for dinner, and did not differ from the prior two visits in that I always leave there hungry. While the presentation is very nice and the quality of the food is good, I have never left this restaurant... More

This tiny, fresh fare restaurant is in downtown Lenox, not far from the Tanglewood Performance Center. The menu is based on very fresh ingredients and every dish was fabulous. We did well with several starters and half portions of pasta. The "massaged" Kale salad with beets and pine nuts was amazing. May be hard to get in, but worth the... More

The menu is different than any other place the food is very creative and delicious. Simple, fresh with a layered taste that satisfies all the senses.

On our first evening in the Berkshires, we stopped a couple of women walking down the street toward us to ask about dinner recommendations - they immediately turned around and pointed to the Nudel - they had just finished dinner there and said if we hurried, their table may still be free - small & busy, but worth it. And... More

Recommended by hotel staff, Nudel aroused our curiosity. "They don't serve noodles and it isn't a German restaurant, either", they explained. True. I'm not at all sure I could easily define what they do serve, except that everything was fresh, well cooked and tasted delicious. Many people came in, looked at the menu and left - a pity, for they... More

I'm very much in agreement with recent reviews. Nudel is a very good spot that can produce some wonderfully creative dishes. It is intimate, and fills up quickly, although on the Friday night we ate there, there were open tables until about 7 pm. Our apps were the best part of the meal, notably soft shell crab tacos and a... More

Nudel is famous for their eclectic menu and fresh ingredients. The food is almost always terrific, but you will get a miss every now and then. During our last meal the orecchietti in a rich bone marrow tomato sauce was terrific. The menu listed it as "spicy" but there was no heat at all. The trout with couscous and peas... More

This place is a true gem and changes the menu enough day to day that multiple visits are a must! Creative, delicious, food presented beautifully. I would put it on my top five all time restaurants.

This is a small place, however, that contributes to the fun as you see others' food and, if you're lucky, get tips from them. I was there in asparagus season, and there were 3 wonderful starters to choose from that we're different from one another. I love places that not only use fresh seasonal ingredients but also treat them in... More

This restaurant is worth driving to Lenox for. I will travel there from Boston just to go again. I eat out 4 or 5 times a week. I have to rack my brain to come up with a meal I will remember like this one. Absolutely the freshest ingredients. The chicken melted in my mouth. We shared the pasta with... More
