Fantastic menu that changes each day! We had the steelhead mousse and it was to die for! Sharing two apps, two pastas and an entree, along with 2 glasses of wine per person was $140. A meal this great would easily be $300 in Boston or New York! Highly recommended. Do make a reservation, as the restaurant has only 9... More

On our last night in Lenox we were lucky to be offered two sets at the bar in front of the open kitchen. My husband was hesitant about sitting at the bar, but it turned out to be one of our most memorable experiences in our holiday. It was New Year's Day and snowing and we had not booked, but... More

This small, slightly quirky restaurant is a little outpost of culinary experimentation, and more than occasional excellence, in an area mostly offering okay to good but predictable resort dining. Chef Bjorn Somlo is first-rate, and really likes to play with his food: it's hard to have "favorites" here because the small, no-substitutes menu changes nightly and features a seemingly endless... We had tried to get into Nudel on numerous previous occasions, but without a reservation policy it has always been impossible over a weekend. My significant other persevered for a new years eve reservation, and we were rewarded with an absolutely stunning prix fixe dinner. I had the vegetarian menu which was unbelievably delicious. My other half had what he... More

I can't believe I waited so long to eat here! Exceptional food, beautifully presented, and perfectly paced. We sat in a corner which was cozy. Next time I'd love to sit at the small bar to watch chef prepare the food in the open kitchen. The menu changes and food is inspired by what's available locally and seasonally. I had... More

A friend raved about Nudel so she and I recently went on a quiet night and sat at the small bar overlooking the chef at work. We split some "small" plates and each had a single plate by ourselves - all delicious! Started with amazing fried beets as a salad - beautifully presented. Then, my favorite, the chicken skin tacos... More

Can't say enough good things. Open kitchen is great. You get dinner and a show. Guys work fast and clean. Everything came out beautify plated. Pacing of the meal was perfect. I like to get in and get out without feeling rushed and nudel does that perfectly. Menu changes constantly and there is always something new to try. Excellent service.

Visiting a family member in the Berkshire area, we used TA to find a 'nice' place for an adult fine-dining experience. Boy did we find it! It's a quaint restaurant off of the main drag in the center of Lenox. Saturday evening, not too busy, and even though the power in the area we out for a bit, we were... More

It was disappointing. The night we went the menu had nothing that seemed very inspired. Which considering the build-up was quite a letdown. Maybe with other food choices the experience would have been better.
