Cut cafe

Went in for coffee and a treat. No GF options was. Disappointment for me. Wanted a chai tea, but they couldn't make it dairy free, so got mint tea instead, which was very good. Hubby liked his espresso and giant cookie. Cute ambiance, just wish they would offer more for those with food allergies

The most ridiculous policy that this place has is to impose a $10 minimum purchase to use a credit card. Coffee shops and bakeries will always have customers that want to buy a cup of coffee and a pastry that will be under $10. This place is not thinking about the inconvenience that this policy places on their customers. I... More

On the way to a hike, we stopped at random for a coffee and scone to fortify ourselves for the climb. It was so good, my husband got another and then, after we read the menu board and saw the sandwiches they had for lunch, we stopped back after the hike for those and were not disappointed. Cute little place... More

Better muffins at DD; dry and obviously days old! Coffee was warm, not hot like DD's. This used to be the bomb...no more!

Traveling from Mississippi to Maine, I went into Lee on a recent Friday morning looking for a coffee and light breakfast. I stopped at the parking lot next to the Lee Library, and walked down Main street looking for something that would catch my eye, and appeal to my travel weary senses. The Cakewalk Bakery & Cafe looked good, so... More

The lemon cranberry scone is worth a stop to get one to break up and share while you wander the streets. The rasberry lemon cake is top of the list for your special occasion. Order in advance and keep refridgerated. It is my recommendation for the best desert to bring to your host. Freeze leftovers in single or double servings... More

okay for fast lunch...that's it..sandwiches and salads tend to be on the small side. This leaves plenty of room for their tempting cookies and cake.

Great place..friendly, excellent scones…..I wish they would make more of them each day. I also wish they would be open on Mondays - at least during the summer!

A local resident recommended this pleasant bakery in Lee for lunch. What a nice surprise, as Cakewalk had a great selection of sandwiches, soup and bakery treats. I had a tasty chicken curry on sourdough, accompanied by pumpkin, black bean and chicken soup. Mrs Gyr's Caprese pesto sandwich was equally good. Cakewalk is a no-frills, menu-on-the blackboard place, with delicious... More
