Great food and service

The food here is excellent, with many Southern India dishes not found in many other places. The service was very friendly and efficient and the prices reasonable. I wish I lived closer so I could come often and try almost everything on the menu.

After reading all the wonderful reviews, seeing the awards, and reading the extensive menu, I was excited to try this Indian restaurant. Wow, was I disappointed. We were a group of 4. 2 of us were served in a reasonable amount of time, the other 2 waited for food that did not come until after the first two had finished... More

Great Indian food...not too spicy...lots of good yogurt based sauces. Staff was very accommodating as people came and went freely during the evening.

the menu is extensive, the portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh and well prepared, and the "heat" level was just right.

The buffet lunch is superb. The choices are many, and they keep filling up the dishes constantly. The service is typical for a buffet, just bringing beverages, clearing plates and bringing the check ,but all the guys are super and very friendly. We have been here quite a few times and it's always the same, delicious! Also, the view of... More

It would be easy to pass by this super Indian restaurant located within a former chain hotel... now the Black Swan Hotel on a commercial stretch of Route 7 in southern Berkshire County - it doesn't look like much from the road. But, in fact, there's a lovely dining room on the edge of the lake, with lovely views... and... More

I enjoy Indian food. I enjoy cooking my own Indian food. But the meal I just had at the Bombay Grill far outshines any previous cuisine I've eaten or prepared. To call this food "spicy" is to completely miss the point of the rich and complex sauces which enveloped the tandoori chicken and palak kofta we'd ordered. The tandoori chicken... More

Even though we have great Indian restaurants in NYC, this one in Lee outdoes them all. Bombay's chef is from Punjab, but some of the dishes we had were from Southern India. We had several appetizers, fresh baked bread, chicken tandoori, and enjoyed every morsel! I have not had better Indian food. We went for a late lunch with my... More

Indian food in and near Boston can reach a kind of parity where the usual suspects of dishes just seem to meld together into a kind of not-really-bad but not really great either kind of experience. Bombay seems to know how to awaken your palette from some sleepy Indian food dream and give you new hope for Indian cuisine. Lamb... More
