Excellent Indian Food

Great location with views of the lake. The food was very good, tastey not to spicey for my taste. The staff is pleasant. Nicely decorated.

I was surprised how good the food was here. The restaurant is cheerful, with a lake view. The food is typical, but they have a very good tandoori chicken and Dosas. I thought the service was excellent. They have a full bar as well. If you are hunkering some Indian Food in the Berkshires, this is the way to go.

Bombay was on the list to visit on a recent trip to Lee, Mass. As a patron of The Black Swan Inn (hotel), it's situated right off the lobby in a neat little area with some neat decor. The food was so good. I think the meals were a slight bit low on the meat in the dishes, but still,... More

My husband and I stopped in following a recommendation by our innkeeper-despite our personal trepidations of never having good Indian food. Well, this was beyond good. They could use a little help with hostess duties but other than that- the cauliflower appetizer was spot on, the chicken masala my husband had was rich, creamy, and decadent. The chicken sphigotta I... More

I decided to have a small birthday dinner there with 5 friends, two of whom have never eaten Indian cuisine. We had appetizers of eggplant, veggies and lamb...two of the three were very tasty while the lamb was too well done. We had five main courses ranging from shrimp, chicken, salmon and lamb. All were really very tasty and flavorful... More

Great Food!! Great staff!! Great Service!! Great selection!! Great ambiance!! We travel to R.I every year during the summer and this has become a regular stop for us as the food and service are tremendous!! They truly compliment the Black Swan Inn as they are adjacent to them.

I've been there before and had mixed experiences... Some very good and some very bad!!! Unfortunately tonight was not a good one !!! They were too busy and did a few mistakes... 1) I asked to be served at the restaurant - at the bar - but they packed my order as to go... 2) I asked for 2 appetizers... More

The food is very good, cleanliness needs improvement,as there was food particles stuck to the front side of the tablecloth. The wait staff was very attentive. That being said I would eat there again. The Mango Madras mixed drink is worth the return trip.

As we were on a timetable to see a play, we thought we had left enough time for dinner. They seemed to have lost our order, so when we got our food, we had to hurry through dinner. The food was excellent; however, management did not seem to care about the problem.
