We started in the bar which we found warm and friendly - very English pub like. We had dinner in the dining room overlooking the lake. The food was good. Not spectacular as everything else was. They do have music in the bar from time to time.

We reserved a table for 4 at 6pm on a Tuesday. We called at 4:30 that day and requested a lake side table. The answer...."we will make the request." One meal came with the vegetable not prepared as requested. The answer from the chef....basically, make do. We said no.....remake it and finally they realized that they were wrong. The duck... More

I have never had duck anywhere that has been so consistently crispy on the outside yet moist and flavorful on the inside

Try the wild mushroom ravioli appetizer which is different from their wild mushroom entree. :) Nice place with bar seating and dining room seating - some of it with lake views.

We have travelled to the beautiful Berkshires for many years (from Toronto) and a relaxing dinner at the Cork and Hearth is one of our favourite "must do' items. This little gem is a hidden treasure for those not familiar with the Berkshires, but I highly recommend you try it if you're in the area (e.g., for James Taylor or... More

This restaurant offers good food for the price and very good service. The dining room overlooks a pretty lake. Onion soup and clam chowder get very good reviews. Menu offers variety, except for desserts, which are mostly ice cream choices. Can't go wrong here.

Eating at the Cork 'N Hearth overlooking Laurel Lake is a step back in time. The menu has old time favorites well prepared. It is worth a visit if one is in the Berkshires.

Overlooking the Stockbridge Bowl Lake, he Cork and Hearth serves a good dinner with friendly service. The menu is very varied so there are many choices for everyone. I had the Coconut Shrimp and Atlantic Scrod fish. both were very tasty and ample sizes. The waitress wax very pleasant and the view of the lake added to the attractiveness of... More

We found this place on line while looking for a place to go to dinner before the concert at Tanglewood. The place is very rustic and cozy. Food was good and would definitely go back again in the winter and sit in front of the fireplace.

Great place although the decor is lacking. Needs a professional face lift. Food is well prepared and the chef/owner is a great guy. Nice local beer selection. I would recommend
