Sunday breakfast

This is a small old diner, with bar stools and a few tables. You can feel the history. The food was good. Nothing great but inexpensive and tasty. Service, well that's another story. If you aren't sitting at the bar it seems pretty slow and you get neglected. We didn't receive our full... read more

We have been stopping at Joe's Diner for breakfast over the years when ever we are in the area. This place has no frills which adds to its ambience. Good home fries , crispy bacon & good coffee. Price is right & you can purchase a Joe's Dinner mug

Decent and excellent-value breakfast place. Food was excellent for the money, definitely recommended for travelling breakfast-hounds like me.

What I ate wasn't all that bad honestly, for the price it was decent diner food, burger, fries, etc. Unfortunately, two things, or maybe several, abound. 1) it's HOT in there. There is a poorly-working a/c machine in one window above the door. It was NOT comfortable. 2) It's SMALL, and we were cramped in our seats. 3) It's run... More

Stopped here on our way to New Hampshire because of reviews here. The place was dirty, the coed bathroom was disgusting, and the server was very unfriendly. My water glass had a small wad of something on it and the silverware was not very clean. Wife ordered a spinach omelet well done with well done toast. Toast came out barely... More

Yes, this is the place. Step up to the counter ( the waitress can tell you what stools to sit on) and recreate Rockwell's 'The Runway'. great little diner with typical diner fare at great prices. They have a wide variety of menu items. Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Traditional diner food...well done...good prices...now air-conditioned, Very local in nature---great traditions, though under new ownership...Joe got tired after many years huffin' and puffin' to get the food out.

Joe's Diner in Lee is known as the place where Stockbridge artist Norman Rockwell painted his famous painting I've parodied in my photo. My brother, nephew, and I had a great time here (and actually it was February 2014, but I can't fix the date on this post). My brother Matt and I love the Berkshires, so he recommended it... More

This is an old style diner that is inexpensive and very friendly. Food is fine and the menu is very varied. They also offer specials. Cash only is the policy and the service is excellent.

*** Please note that I would actually give this place 3.5 stars if that was an option. We came here for breakfast on Sunday morning on 4th of July weekend. This is clearly a local favorite with a very long history, which is why we wanted to try it before leaving to return home. We had high (but metered) hopes,... More
