My family and I come here every time we go to the berkshires. Old town diner (with the stools and counter), very comfy and cozy. Excellent breakfast)I always get the corned beef hash and eggs and am never disappointed). Giant portions and cheap prices. No complaints here. Just be aware, it is cash only, but they have an ATM machine... More

It is great to read the articles on the wall about Joe, this place has been open since the fifties. The breakfast was half the price as the same meal we had down the road and better!

The place was made famous by the Rockwell illustration showing a boy running away from home and the policeman and Joe trying to talk him out of it. This place looks like a hole in the wall, but they serve the best basic foot around. Service is lightening fast. Sit at the counter and within minutes you'll be chatting with... More

It's a diner. It has diner food. If you are a foodie with no appreciation of art history--just skip it. But just once while in town, you MUST eat here to see the counter used in the iconic painting. If none of this makes sense, just click on.

Tiny little dinner, with all the staples. We enjoyed our dinner very much. The broccoli was over cooked, so opt for a different veggie. Chicken and potatoes were delicious.I was told to ask which, made from scratch, pie Patty made because bets is the best. The locals friendly, service great. Went by the next day, the place was packed. I... More

Joe's was recommended, however closed. Makes no sense to me that a restaurant would not want out of town business. Other dining options also closed in Lee that morning, should fix problem and be open for hungry travellers!

This is not an imitation diner, it's original. Although the new owners replaced the 1950's counter a couple of years ago, there is still a lot of the old details in this place. For the past six years, we have gone there during our semi-annual trips to the area. Prices are very low and the food is decent. Many locals... More

New owners don't serve the same quality of food that the original owner, Joe Sorrentino served. Still a decent place to go for a quick breakfast.

We came here for lunch before traveling back home. The service was average. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere is nice and historical. The price is pretty reasonable. We will probably stop in again when traveling through.

Wow does this place need a good cleaning. We have been there several times, but probably done with it now. The famous Rockwell cover with a cop and a kid on a diner bar stool was done here, and we stumbled across this randomly on our way through on a visit. After the history wears off, the place is dirty,... More
