Chez Nous is a chef- and pastry chef-owned operation where the focus is on real, seasonal ingredients prepared in both modern and classic ways. We offer half portions of many items, to encourage lots of tasting and variety, and we take care to prepare as many items gluten-free and dairy free as possible, leaving lots of choices for everyone. Our 1841 house has charm and comfort, and our newly-renovated bar is the perfect place to have a local craft beer, wine from our award-winning list, or a creative cocktail, along with bar snacks, our famous pate, or anything from our dinner menu.

Fine, but avoid the large dining room

This is the place to eat if you are staying in Lee. The food and service were excellent. You should, however, avoid the large dining room. When filled it is cacophonous and unbearable. Ask to be seated in one of the smaller rooms.

Dining at Chez Nous was a beautiful experience also because I wouldn't have expected such a menu in a small town in Western Mass. The atmosphere is cozy (although I thought it wasn't heated enough to feel really comfortable) and homey. The service was very good and French was not just a foreign language. The duck was good, the lamb... More

A friend and I had a wonderful meal there recently. We made reservations and were seated promptly upon arriving. Service was efficient and attentive. The rolls were delicious. Soft inside and crunchy outside. We each had an appetizer and a small portion of our entrees. Everything was delicious. I had the mushroom ragout appetizer and the steak. My friend had... More

I can't say enough at how awesome this experience was. We previously knew nothing about this place, found it on Yelp, and who knew that the food would be THIS GOOD. Literally everything we ordered was magnificent from the pâté trio appetizer to the Moroccan lamb entree to the rum-soaked raisin blondie dessert (a must try). If you're in Lee,... More

The restaurant is warm and inviting and the food was very good. We had venison Osso Buco in a delicious sauce that fell off the bone and a seafood stew that had a lot of seafood in it. One nice thing is that you can half portions of most everything, The range of choices go from fancy to burgers so... More

We had a very good meal at Chez Nous but remembered the food being much better a few years ago. For example, the root vegetable mashed potatoes were ok - they really tasted like mashed potatoes, nothing more, nothing less. The appetizers and dinner items were picked were good but I wouldn't be running back to this restaurant in the... More

In spite of the name, this is a casual restaurant. The entree menu is relatively small, but its hard to choose because each offering sounds and is delicious. My wife had the duck confit cassoulet which was done perfectly. She actually had a half portion since she had the delicious cauliflower and leek soup as a starter. I decided on... More

This was recommended by our hosts at the Inn at Stockbridge. Jeff made the reservations on-line - a real plus. We arrrived at 6pm with only a few people at tables. By the time we left it was packed. Food, service and wine were excellent. We will return !!

Read that vegetarians would enjoy Chez Nous. The only vegetarian dish they had was Vegetarian Heirloom Einkorn Grain "Risotto". It was a watery, tasteless sauce with a few vege's in it. AWFUL!!! Maybe it was the Einkorn grain, but it tasted horrible. Not at all like a rice risotto. Yuck!
