Good choice for casual lunch.

Liked the atmosphere and food but thought it was a little pricey for what we got. $30 for one sandwich one crepe and 2 small drinks.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Got the green eggs & ham and French onion soup. Delicious! Coffee was just soso. Ambience was great. Service excellent. Fun to hang out in sleepy Lee.

We were travelling back from a Christmas visit to family in Wisconsin and had enough serine plaza food already. Rather than stop for breakfast at anther highway rest stop, we got off of the Mass Pike in Lee and found the Starving Artist in a row of shops an a quaint main street. The breakfast sandwiches on sourdough bread sure... More

Unassuming place, easy to drive by, but worth the stop. Interesting and delicious food, good variety. Really, on any visit to the center of Lee, this should be a destination!

Interesting decor; comfortable seating; very accommodating and positive staff; unusual, varied, and tasty menu; and the artist input included a jazz quartet between 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, and the starving artists' multi-media displays available for purchase. Other than that, we have nothing good to say! :-) and (-:

Lee is a nice town, that sometimes gets bypassed in favor of Lenox or Stockbridge. Well, if you're on your way to or from either of those places, be sure to stop in Lee at the Starving Artist Cafe. Excellent coffee, pastries & homemade crepes filled with freshly cooked ingredients. Top notch! There is also original artwork & jewelry available... More

A locally run restaurant that specializes in all sorts of crepes - sweet and savory. My favorite is a Mexican version. Their vegetarian onion soup is also amazing. Store front with tables as part of an art gallery too.

My first visit was for a coffee. The place was humming and the coffee was good, so it became my local. I returned on two occasions for a lunchtime salad. They were both very tasty, a product of some imaginative work with locally sourced organic food. The crepes are more popular than the salads, but I stuck to the healthy... More

I love the Starving Artist. The ham and cheese crepe with cheddar is delicious. I also love the little salad served on the side, the dressing is so good! It's a very relaxing atmosphere. I work at a business down the street, and I always recommend the Starving Artist to guests for lunch. The one downside is their business hours.... More

We tried the pumpkin crepes and they were light and tasty with nuts and raisins. We also had a delicious smoothie the "almond joy", as long as you don't want a sweet tasting one. We finished with a homemade bar that was scrumptious! Atmosphere with the gallery was nice.
