Great food - quick on/off the Mass Pike

We stopped in here when on a long road trip. Tired of highway rest stop food we found this on Trip Advisor and decided to stop. It is just a minute off the Mass Pike so well worth taking the exit. If you want to have the most unbelievable new England Clam chowder-Housatonic cafe is the place. It was incredibly delicious. The sandwiches were great also-with lots of meat and fresh bread. Christina was very pleasant, took our pictures and made sure that we had everything we needed. She even offered to give us a sample of the delicious gelato, although... More

Found this by accident while shopping at the curtain outlet. Quaint repurposed home with indoor and outdoor seating. Had the special sandwich of the day. Very tasty at a fair price, $20 for two with drink and tax. This is a good alternative to all the fast food joints one could choose from. Has both vegetarian and gluten free options.

After a couple of hours at the outlet mall, we wanted to grab some lunch before heading home. We found this cafe while driving into Lee on Route 20. It was a great find. The sandwiches were custom made and fresh. The service was quick (as opposed to another review) and the turkey was perfect for a summer afternoon. We... More

Very fresh ingredients but took a very long time to be served. I like that they use Boars Heads meats!

Fresh sandwiches with quality meats. Local fresh bread and handmade ice cream. Chided is delicious but the only type of soup served, I think. Sandwiches are a good size and ran about 8 or $9 each. Would def rec for its fresh sandwiches and very friendly owner. Pristine restrooms, too!

Fresh ingredients, delicious chowder, and adorable atmosphere. Avoid the chains and head here for a sandwich

We stopped here because we didn't want a franchise chain restaurant while traveling through the area. The turkey sandwiches were really good quality, stacked high on fresh wheat bread with slices of tomato and cucumber. The owner made fresh drip coffee at our table and it was wonderful.

stopped by here for lunch on our way to the Lee Premium Outlets. The New England clam chowder was out of this world. It was delicious, very flavorful. Also had the Wildcat Sandwich that was roast beef, cheese, roasted red peppers and horseradish spread. Amazing! The roast beef was the most tender non stringy beef I have ever had. Was... More

Had a nice hot sandwich on a dreary rainy day. Owner very friendly and helpful about bread options. Chibatta bread was great. We're not clam chowder fans and unfortunately it's the only soup they have. Would have liked another soup option.
