This is our second visit here and it's a great little sandwich shop. Lots of bottled beverages to choose from and lunch is always fresh and tasty. Skip the Lee plaza food and head off exit 2 for a quick hop, skip & jump to a fresher meal option.

This cute cafe is in a restored Victorian house on the Main Street in Lee. You can't miss it, it's painted bright pink and green. Has off street parking and outdoor seating available on the porch. We ordered 2 sandwiches for lunch, both nice and fresh and packed with yummy deli meats. They also make their own Italian Ice, but... More

My mom and I were shopping at the Lee Outlets and wanted someplace different for lunch. An Internet search revealed that the Housatonic Cafe was right down the street from the outlets, right on the main road, so we decided to check it out. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience. The employee (I think he might have been the... More

Colorful, clean and welcoming ambiance combines self serve ordering with the most delicious deli sandwiches I've experienced in a LONG time! Had the Tyringham Gobbler -- the ingredients were super fresh and literally melted in your mouth. We each started with a bowl of their NE clam chowder and it was literally out of this world! If you're looking for... More

Had the Ellis Island which had great Italian meats and olives on wheat bread grilled. Awesome. Also very clean. Will come back again.

This house, is a cute place to have a great sandwich. It is easy to find, its pink and next to the RINK, a building that is closed but hard to miss. They have a great selection of sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. There is table service as well as well as take out and everyone is very friendly. Service... More

My first time eating here. While I was at the Lee Founder's Day Weekend a guy overheard me say I wanted a sandwich and handed me a brochure for this place adding "they have the best sandwiches in town." So I've been wanting to try it ever since. I was on my way back into town and decided now was... More

It is great getting off the Mass Pike to stretch your, legs, but do you really want to eat at Friendly's? The Housatonic Cafe was great! We were greeted, told we could customize the menu or they would create a sandwich, but the menu had a great variety. The ham and cheese (the real name of the sandwich escapes me,... More

I had lunch here several times and the sandwiches are always very fresh and tasty. They seem to only use high quality meats that taste fresh. The owner is very friendly and accommodates your every need/request. I highly recommend the soup as it is always made fresh and is piping hot. The atmosphere is nice and quiet where you can... More

I wanted to stop at a decent lunch place in a town rather than have fast food at a rest stop on the highway. My husband appreciated that this cafe was near the I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) exit for Lee, as he didn't want to spend too much time driving to find a restaurant. The Boar's Head deli sandwiches were good,... More
