Had the Ellis Island which had great Italian meats and olives on wheat bread grilled. Awesome. Also very clean. Will come back again.

This house, is a cute place to have a great sandwich. It is easy to find, its pink and next to the RINK, a building that is closed but hard to miss. They have a great selection of sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. There is table service as well as well as take out and everyone is very friendly. Service... More

My first time eating here. While I was at the Lee Founder's Day Weekend a guy overheard me say I wanted a sandwich and handed me a brochure for this place adding "they have the best sandwiches in town." So I've been wanting to try it ever since. I was on my way back into town and decided now was... More

It is great getting off the Mass Pike to stretch your, legs, but do you really want to eat at Friendly's? The Housatonic Cafe was great! We were greeted, told we could customize the menu or they would create a sandwich, but the menu had a great variety. The ham and cheese (the real name of the sandwich escapes me,... More

I had lunch here several times and the sandwiches are always very fresh and tasty. They seem to only use high quality meats that taste fresh. The owner is very friendly and accommodates your every need/request. I highly recommend the soup as it is always made fresh and is piping hot. The atmosphere is nice and quiet where you can... More

I wanted to stop at a decent lunch place in a town rather than have fast food at a rest stop on the highway. My husband appreciated that this cafe was near the I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) exit for Lee, as he didn't want to spend too much time driving to find a restaurant. The Boar's Head deli sandwiches were good,... More

My family & I were driving out to Michigan & back. Very picky eaters, 2 vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed their food at this stop- enough that Dad asked me to find the place again on our next cross country trip 2 yrs later.

Good food, great chowder. A nice little spot close to the outlets. A but pricey for sandwich and soup $17 and the service is VERY slow, nice and pleasant but slow. Not a quick stop.

I almost never submit a review when it is similar to others but I thought this to be an exception. The key question is, are you in a hurry? We were not, meeting family for lunch and chat. The food was excellent. The variety was superb and the wait was LONG. So if you have time I highly recommend it,... More

We spent the afternoon shopping at the outlets nearby and needed lunch. Sandwiches were very good with a generous amount of meat on each, but 3 sandwiches took almost 40 min! If you're really hungry or in a hurry, don't bother. The place was non-stop busy even after 2:00 on a Saturday afternoon, and shortly after we ordered, the counter... More
