Amazing Find

Delicious sandwiches, and clam chowder so good, the comparisons to Legal Sea Foods' are warranted. Highly recommended for a quick bite.

After leaving the outlets we wanted to grab some lunch. I looked online and saw some pretty solid reviews and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed! The food was extremely fresh and flavorful. We started with a cup of clam chowder. It was probably the best clam chowder I've ever tasted. We split a sandwich made... More

Yum! We were staying in the area for a hiking weekend and stopped in at the Housatonic Cafe for lunch after our long drive, the food was incredible!! We both loved our sandwiches and the clam chowder was delicious. This could be the best sandwich shop in the area considering just the food. A few things could be improved with... More

Passing through. Good food but portions are small. Had a salad that was 1/4 size of my local deli's in metro Boston and more expensive. The menu is limited and overpriced.

Despite no WiFi the blues music was great. The food was very good. The chowder is not to be missed. Sandwich meat portion was above-average. Sourdough was fresh. Wait for food was 5 -10 minutes with 3 customers waiting.

I liked everything about this Deli particularly since I passed by a "Subway" earlier. Great service with the chance to "Build Your Own." Great dinning room too! Stop by when around.

The food is out of this world! Their sandwiches are fresh and very tasty. I had the "Route 20" twice in 3 days! The blend of flavors on the sandwiches shows that someone has really taken their time to come up with just the right flavors to complement each other. The ingredients are top quality. They also have home made... More

Fantastic sandwiches on locally baked bread! New England clam chowder is some the best I've ever had. Brought visitors from Chile who were bowled over!

On a Saturday afternoon after seeing a performance at Shakespeare & Co., my friend and I were looking for a place for some food while driving through Lee, Mass. Not familiar with the town, we pulled into the driveway of the Housatonic Cafe. It was a fortunate stroke of luck for us. We had excellent clam chowder and some very... More
