Good Peruvian food, surprise in Lee

Good food and service. Interesting Peruvian cuisine and drinks. Definitely worth multiple visits, the side dish with plantains is very good and authentic. The chicken and fish dishes have very distinct flavors, loved the cilantro in them.

In a nutshell, this restaurant is awesome! Great food and service. Food is delicious, fresh, and authentic. They offer great lunch specials. I had a seafood soup and it was loaded with fish.

Service was very good. Food was delicious. A nice "taste" of Peru. We even enjoyed a Peruvian beer. A fun place to dine.

Lunch stop if you like a meal with lots of rice. I have a craving for paellas, so whenever my companion or I see paella on the menu of a new restaurant, I always order it. Their Peruvian paella consisted of four large shrimp in a bed of orange rice, flavored lightly with cilantro and other spices. My companion's chicken... More

Being the only Peruvian restaurant anywhere around here it's a pretty decent place. The service is good and the portion size was also good. I have had much better Peruvian food but that was in Miami. I do think it's a little over priced but will be back.

Have past here many times and finally had the chance to stop by, and glad I did. We tried three different rice dishes which were each unique, artfully prepared and delicious. The restaurant is low key, comfortable and inviting. Recommended. CH

I discovered this place by accident while coming back home from Tanglewood. It is a great Peruvian food restaurant, the owners are Peruvian and know their cooking. Peruvian food has become very famous in the last few years, but as a Peruvian, I can tell you this food has always been delicious. Peruvians eat a great deal of potatoes and... More

While staying in Lee, MA, we noticed this Peruvian restaurant, Alpamayo, and decided to give it a try. We were traveling with vegetarian husband and our year-old grandchild. The atmosphere in Alpamayo is quaint and home-y. We got two of the potato-based appetizers -- absolutely yummy. Ordered a couple of Peruvian cocktails from the bar - very tasty. Peruvian beer... My husband and I went for an early dinner after skiing and were pleased to have a delicious dinner, complete with a Pisco Sour. We spent two weeks in Peru when we hiked The Inca Trail last summer, so we were eager to enjoy the tastes we experienced. I was hoping to get sopa de quinoia, but it wasn't on... More

Great food. Interesting flavors. Everything tastes fresh. Try the soup (enough for two) or the mussels for an appetizer. Charming people. Excellent service.
