Classic breakfast/lunch cafe. Traditional menu with some healthy choices added. Specials are worth hearing about. Would have liked to see chicken salad and a club sandwich on the menu, but they happily substituted turkey for the corned beef on a Ruben. Friendly service and charming inside and out! A rose by any other name . . . . .

This is right across the street from the Friendly's. It was clean, quick, had good variety, and the lunch dishes were good. I had a fish sandwich, and my wife had a modified Rueben which they were happy to do. We were waited on by the owner. There are only 12 tables so it can be crowded on weekend breakfasts/brunches.... Clean and great food portions! Wonderful staff and very reasonable prices. You can walk over from the Super "8" which is next door.

great vegi club sandwich - fresh, delicious. Great that some could have breakfast and some lunch. Healthy refreshing alternative to fast food.

I work in the area and my wife & I go to lunch at Rose's from time to time. Very "nice" place, lots of ladies lunching. Most of the customers are AARP eligible, not that there's anything wrong with that, just so you know. Prices are moderate for a table service "nice" place.

We've visited this restaurant about 10 times over the last few years. We've only been there for lunch, but I can't aimagine any other meals are any less satisfying. Very quaint decor and great food. The place does need a good spring cleaning, though. A lot of cobwebs on the ceiling and such. Needs some attention to detail...

Perfect way to begin and end a weekend visit to the area. Stopped by Friday for lunch and enjoyed homemade broccoli soup and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches (and crispy French fries) ever. A cup of soup was plenty and I split the sandwich and fries with my sister which was just right. Stopped by for breakfast on... More
