We were on a long weekend getaway in Troy, NY area on the Harley. We took a nice long ride into Mass. Saw Reilly's on the lake, stopped for lunch. I wasn't too hungry, so I ordered the Hot Chicken Wings...my good ness were they delicious! Probaby best wings I've had in a long time...hubby ordered the Lobster Dinner, as... More

The restaurant was recommended by resort staff. We stopped for lunch on a rainy day, which meant we had to eat inside rather than on the deck overlooking the lake. We were seated at a window table and enjoyed the lake view to some extent. The menu had a variety of items, but we both ended up ordering the fish... More

We have gone there twice. The beer is cold and the food is decent. I enjoy the crab-cakes quite a bit. Nothing special. I make better ones at home. However, it does the job. My husband thought his meal was okay. However, the cool lake air on a hot summer day makes it nice. You will wait some time for... More

We went for a sunset dinner having lived in Pittsfield for awhile and never having been. We didn't have to wait long for an outdoor table. It took a very long time for the waiter to take our order of two appetizers and three dinners. One of the drinks had three small bugs in it. The food took a really... More

Great view of the lake at sunset. Average bar food. Pleasant service. Cold beer. Worth it for the view.

We have been here before and enjoyed it. This last visit was very disappointing. The waitress brought my husbands lunch and disappeared. When we finally saw her again, after my husband had finished half his lunch, and asked where my lunch was, she said I never ordered one, told her what I ordered and than she said she forgot to... My review may have been different if the weather had allowed us to sit outside. It was drizzling. Inside we were faced with a bare open room with tables from the 60's. Food was decent -I had a homemade chili that had a good kick, my wife had a good Reuben. The staff was adequate but I wouldn't call them... More

Pub is right on Lake Pontoosuc. Ample parking. Went in afternoon with family. Very kid friendly, even has a "mother's dining room". Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was average to good, seafood was fresh and tasty. Will go again. Lovely to sit out on deck at picnic table.

All three in my party were totally disappointed. My hamburg meal, which I usually avoid, was dry. My partner's vegetables were over cooked and probably canned. Her pasta sauce was worse than canned, if that is possible. My cousin's. Walk was equally terrible.

We have been driving by this place foe the past two years and never took the opportunity to check it out. We were not missing anything. The sign outside says Matt Reilly's "Irish" Pub. Only Jameson for Irish whiskey. Guinness is not on draft; they serve it in a can! The food was decent. We just had higher hopes.
