I have eaten here several times and have found the food a little uneven and the service a little pretentious. This time, the individual dinner pizza and the scallops were good although a friend was disappointed in the lobster, which he described as bland. My coconut cake dessert was too heavy but had a tasty, rich cream cheese icing that... More

My husband and I dined at Solstice last night for our anniversary. We were both impressed from when we were greeted all the way through to the dessert; everything was perfect! We started with the Spring Rolls for an appetizer. They were very tasty and just enough for an appetizer. For dinner my husband had a veal special and I... More

My wife and I went to Solstice on a Saturday night for my birthday. We went late, around 8:30, and we were seated immediately. We just wanted some apps and some wine as we had had a late lunch. We ordered oysters which were very fresh and came with some excellent sauces. We then had the seafood campeche app. It... More

I can understand why Solstice tops the list in Kingston. We finally got there and were more than pleased. Old train stations are always charming especially when trains come roaring by occasionally, but the food is what really delighted us. We both had fish: the wild salmon and the cod special. Each was moist and beautifully prepared. Our waiter pointed... More

I always stop at Solstice when visiting my sister who lives in Kingston Ma. The food is exceptional as well as the service & ambiance . Tucked away behind the railroad tracks don't miss this special place!

We ate here recently, after too long of a time away. The drinks are excellent and the service is top rate. My wife had the tenderloin carpaccio and a pizza of the day which had sausages, asparagus and caramelized onions. I had 1/2 dozen oysters and a fantastic burger - cooked perfectly. We ate at the bar, but on previous... More

Solstice has consistently excellent quality and an unrivaled menu for the area. I've ordered filet, scallops, and chicken in the past, all of which has been as good as the next. I highly recommend Solstice for a nice night out.

I've been to Solstice many times and it almost never disappoints. Was here recently on a Sunday afternoon after a concert over at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center. Had the salmon special which was delicious and my dining companion and I shared a bottle of a Greek merlot. Who knew? I was a bit skeptical but it was quite good... More

My husband and I dined here on 3/1/14 with another couple. No reservations are taken on Saturday night for parties under 6, so we arrived at opening. The hostess was welcoming and accomodating as to where we wanted to be seated Our waiter was pleasant but service was not great. First, he didn't bring a glass of wine and had... More

This hidden gem has a great atmosphere, excelent service and top notch food. The menu has enough variety to satisfy almost any diner. The food is prepared well and the presentation is first rate. The wait staff is attentive and professional. This is our first choice for a great meal out.
