Outstanding Food - Excellent Service

Had dinner here with friends last night and it was excellent. The halibut was cooked to perfection as were the steaks. I had the tuna - a Signature dish that has been on the menu since the place opened and was FANTASTIC. The martinis were ice cold - an added plus. The service was excellent. I... read more

Have not been to Solstice in a while. The return was worth it. From the hostess to the waiter to the food everything was excellent.

Friendly greeting. Seated immediately, service was prompt, pleasant, and knowledgeable. By the time we left, the restaurant was completely full, and the noise level was high, but not intolerable. Food was very good, especially scallops and striped bass special. Portions were reasonable, as were prices, considering the menu. Wine list is reasonably broad, not overpriced. Management is obviously trying hard,... More

Love the food here so need to rate it highly and would give it a 5 if they could do something about the noise level. When full up you can't even talk but the road is great. Had halibut. Friends had steak and raved about it as well as the salads. Schnitzel a tad overcooked but everything else spot on!

You would be hard pressed to find a better place for dinner. Service was excellent, the food was impressive, and good value for the money spent. Great meal.

Went here with friends on a sunday night. There were 5 of us and we sat down to a dark table no candles or ambiance whatsoever. There was only one basket of bread with 4 slices of very small cold sour dough type bread and there were five of us so i couldn't understand why they didnt offer us another... More

This is my favorite restaurant on the South Shore of Massachusetts. It is in a converted train station, I believe, and sits next to the commuter rail tracks in Kingston. The inside is very well appointed with great art and other decor. The food is fabulous with great seafood offerings and the appetizers and salads are delicious. On my last... More

Locals have long recommended Solstice to me and, happily, I have finally taken their advice. The menu was varied, interesting and heavy on in season offerings. Through the evening we enjoyed fresh raw oysters, crispy soft shell crab, pork buns, beef tartare(wonderful "rough cut" texture), duck breast, and spinach salad finishing with expresso/cappachinos and creme brûlée. To an item, all... More

Nice atmosphere in an old train station. The food is generally very good to excellent with interesting daily specials. The service is professional. Thus is not an inexpensive restaurant but the prices are reasonable when compared to equivalent quality in a Boston restaurant. One of a only a handful of really good restaurants in the area, highly recommended.
