Everything we have ever bought here was fresh and delicious. Sometimes their supply of fresh fish is low depending upon the time of day you go. The prepared foods are excellent as are the soups.

This place makes homemade soups and a small gluten free hot lunch buffet every day. I get soup and salad and it's real good. The place is a very clean fish market that has a kitchen and good food. The owner is Chrissi and she's a good cook. Some things are very oily....I think it's a Greek thing but very... More

This place has a wonderful array of hot prepared meals, cooked daily and fresh. There are many options to dine in or order take out. Some selections I tried in recent days were tilapia and fresh veggies, haddock and leeks, polenta , salmon and lime rubbed steak. They have daily pizza that is excellent and a fresh salad bar. I... Fresh seafood, a broad array of prepared food, hot homemade soups and loads of goodies. Fairly priced for excellent quality.

Okay, so I admit that it takes some getting used to ... looking at halibut for $24.99 a pound. But, look at the fish here and then go down to Shaw's or Market Basket and look at their dead fish on ice. Yeah, you'll be back here the next time you want a restaurant quality fish to cook at home.... More

Really great quality fish, either raw or prepared, as well as many side dishes. We get food to go but you can call ahead for sandwiches, large orders and grab soup too. I've never eaten here for lunch although they have tables set up for that in a side room and outside. They also sell nice local foods (cookies, oils,... More

My boyfriend and I consulted Trip Advisor for a place to have lunch as we drove into Ipswich. This gem was listed and had good reviews which it lived up to bigtime!! The cafe's clam chowder, broccoli and cheese soup, and clam cake were delicious!!! You could taste how fresh everything was, obviously made on premises that day with fresh... More

This review pertains to ordering fish through their website. I paid $129 for 1 Quart of clams, along with a few other necessities to fry them. I think by any standard that would be gauged as very expensive. However, we wanted good quality clams from back east like we remembered them, so we paid it hoping for the best. The... More

The market has fresh fish, prepared meals to eat on site or take home and other unusual gourmet products as well as frozen foods made on site. Their selection of soups and chowders is extensive and excellent. They have one of the best clam chowders in Ipswich (where clam chowder is a staple food).

Entirely surprising; close to the whole sale distribution facilities retail fresh Fist Market with elegant interior serving prepared and retail fresh seafoods. Totally Ipswich.
