Zabaglione's Restaurant is a cozy place, with individually prepared meals by the owner/chef. The regular menu along with daily specials provide ample choices for everyone. Each item is individually prepared therefore be prepared to enjoy the company of the others in your party. Portions are quite ample, the tastes are delectable, and the salads and sides are fresh and tasty.... More

All meals cooked to order by the owner/chef, Michael. Food is always freshly prepared and taste and presentation are as good as it gets. Northern Italian cuisine prepared to perfection. This restaurant is small and intimate...a perfect location for dinner with a special person. Since Michael takes great care to make each meal special, have an appetizer, some wine, and... More

We recently returned to this old favorite of ours, but ended up very disappointed, despite the excellent food. We have been coming here since the mid 1990's when we moved to the area, and we knew Zabagliones isn't known for speedy service. We expected to spend about one and one-half to two hours, and had early reservations (6:15pm) to avoid... More

For several years I have been intrigued to go to this restaurant . I used to grab a glass of wine and take out at their casual cafe which is no longer here. We went on a Thursday night right before Easter weekend....I expected a full place but we came without a reservation and there was only one other table.... More

This is our favorite restaurant in Ipswich. It is very reminiscent of the North End Restaurants in Boston. I highly recommend the stuffed veal chop.

Very quiet and intimate atmosphere. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. I have very particular needs to due to food allergies and the chef was very accommodating without taking away from the food experience.

Four of us were lucky enough to get a table on a Friday night without a reservation. Zabagliones is quite small, and in the past quite crowded and impossible without reservations. Evidently the increased competition in the area is taking a bite out of business, which worked out well for us. Wait staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Dining room... More

We just bought a second home in this cozy town. We had our first meal at Zabaglione. I have been to Italy a Dozen Times and No one can make a linguine Carbonara like the Chef. It is not on the dinner menu but just ask and he will make it. Small cozy restaurant, Fantastic food, Gerat Wine list. Worth... More

Zabagliones is a small, intimate restaurant with European charm. I ordered a Caesar salad and eggplant 'parmesan,' which is what I customarily order from any menu where it is offered. The salad was very good, but the eggplant was hardly prepared with skill. It was served with angel hair pasta that was not thoroughly drained so the eggplant and pasta... More
