This is a little gem we locals love! The students from Sturgis school love it too, so just watch for the crowds. Tom and Cindy run this place and are just the nicest folks. Make all the gelato themselves. Go for any of the flavors that are blend through, versus anything with frozen fuirt pieces in it--better flavor in the... More

Words can not express the quality of the gelato at cafe Gelato Bertini!!!! It is an experience that everyone who visits Hyannis should have!! There's nothing to not like- fabulous gelato, great people, not on the beaten path....definitely worth a trip to Hyannis if you can't make it to Italy!

My son attends the high school across the street and he is addicted to their nutella gelato. I've been twice and it is very good. After being in Italy last august it's nice to close your eyes and pretend for a minute you are back there. They do a great job! I think they should have a gelato class!

I like ice-cream but before visiting Caffe Gelato Bertini I didn't think it was something worth going out of your way for. I went for two scoops - pear and salted caramel - and it was a taste sensation. Looking forward to going back to try other flavours.

We dropped in for a gelato on our visit to Hyannis. It was late in the evening and we ended up talking to the owners, a husband and wife team. They are an absolutely lovely couple and we ended up chatting for about 40 minutes. They looked like they really enjoyed doing what they are doing, and I wish them... More

Last time I had a gelato this delicious was in Florence. It beats anything in the North End of Boston by a mile! Satiny smooth Nutella was sheer delight! Don't miss it when you are in the Hyannis area!

Definitively worth looking for. The owners are helpful and the gelato is outstanding. Too many flavors to pick from, try the salted carmel.

Caffe Gelato Bertini was one of the stops on the Hungry in Hyannis food tour. The location is off Main Street in a cute tiny house. The gelato was excellent -- very flavorful and creamy. I had the Cape Sea Salted Caramel, my husband had the Zabaglione and my friend had the Pumpkin. All were delicious. The owners were very... More

Saw this place on TA and had it on the "to do" list.......we saw two young ladies walking along eating out of small dishes very near the Caffe Gelato Bertini and asked them if they had gelato. Their body language told us they were loving it! We had a hard time picking out our flavors but then we chose the... More
