During a recent business trip myself and a coworker were directed to try Barbyann's Restaurant as a lunch option. We were at the airport working and this restaurant was close by. We were greeted by the bartender and seated quickly. The restaurant itself is older as several reviewers have noted. Shortly thereafter a pleasant server greeted us and provided menus... More

We have eaten here on several trips to the Cape. We love the as well as the service. It is wheelchair accessible including the bathroom. Many places have a ramp to get you and seated but no bathroom facilities available to the person in the wheelchair. Not here. Love the specials. Husband is still trying it find pizza as good... More

I stopped here for dinner while passing by in the Cape Cod Ragnar Relay. Seven of us who were a bit tired and cranky. Our waitress Connie did not know what to make of us as people were all heading to the bathrooms for a break from Port-a-Johns. She had to return three times before everyone was ready to order... This restaurant has been here for many many years. I just discovered it, and it is quaint. Service was excellent. Food choices were numerous and just what I like lots of seafood, but of course, I am on Cape Cod. I found my choice a little salty for my taste, but my partners’ meal was not. I would recommend trying... More

This restaurant is out of the way, but a good deal at a good price. I had a lobster dinner for 22.99. Service was great, although, I will say my waiter, Chris, did not ask me if I wanted an appetizer , and at the end a dessert. Other than that, he was great about checking in, and refilling water.... I usually sit in the pub area and go there every couple of months primarily for a a crock pot of their seafood stew which has been consistently excellent. It is very thick and satisfying. A basket of dinner rolls comes with it. My dinner companion was able to make a meal from her appetizer quesidillas (spelling?). It was a... More

I wish that I had read the review titled "Better options not that far away", before we decided to dine here. The description of this establishment is exactly what we experienced. "The place smelled old and musty- exactly like the 20+ years it has been here- carpets were gross- bathrooms smelled like an unpleasant combination of old bleach and bath... More

There were two of us in our party and we both got burgers and they were both ok to pretty good-BUT that's where the honeymoon ended! The sweet potato fries were burned- pickles were soggy- we sat in the practically deserted dining room, just two other couples besides us, and still had to slurp our drinks to get refills from... Perfect job for two jet lagged travellers needing a pick me up. Lobster bisque and the seafood soup both excellent with warm bread rolls and pumpkin cake on the side. 8 ounce ranch burger came with perfectly flavoured steak fries. And the cola kept coming before we asked for it. Friendly service on a dark, wet night. Thank you!

Barbyann's has been at it's present location on Airport Rd, behind the K-Mart Plaza, for over 20 yrs. We took our children there, now we take our grandchildren for lunch or dinner. Food is very good, plain American style cooking: fish & chips, chili, burgers, ribs, fried scallops, salads & soups, but also there are always about 10 specials, which... More
