My two sons and I had an outstanding meal. I'm not an oil-dipping girl and usually ask for butter (although they had already included it) but after trying their's, I could have drank it. I had the best Bruschetta ever and the boys had calamari (fabulous aioli) and stuffed mushrooms for their apps. I had the veal marsala with a... More

Visited recently on a Wed night and the place was empty. There was no show at the melody tent and a rainy night so maybe that is why. Service was very good and attentive. The food was excellent we were a group of 8 and shared the antipasto salad which was great and hot bread. Chicken parm and eggplant were... More

This restaurant has gone downhill since they moved from their previous location in West Main St. Second and last time I will visit the new location. Service was poor (no bread offered, received different wine to what I ordered and food was not as good as it used to be ) and wait for food was much to long. This... More

Took some relatives out for dinner and wanted to try this place. Atmosphere and service was very good. Our group ordered 3 linguine and clam sauce white with extra garlic. Couldn't even taste the garlic. It was pretty much tasteless. Had to douse it with grated cheese to get any flavor. The bread was good though. Alberto's would have probably... More

We relocate to the Cape every summer, and Il Maestro has become one of our favorite places to go. The eggplant parm is one of the best anywhere. Location is good, but out of the tourist traffic of main street and the waterfront. Service is always top notch and the value is excellent. Portions are generous!

The best Italian food I have ever eaten. I am happy that they moved to their new address on North Street. Great atmosphere and the waitstaff was attentive without hovering. Waitress told us of how the owners mother has supplied most of the recipes and stops by occasionally to check that the chef is following them correctly. Can't wait to... More

Cape Cod has many Italian restaurants, some of which are pricey and trendy. Il Maestro does an excellent job with the traditional, Southern Italian "red sauce" style. Sauces are fresh and portions are extremely generous. I had braciole (rolled, stuffed beef) with a side of penne while my friend had lasagne. No tricks or surprises -- just excellent, straight-ahead Italian... More

Not a great first experience. Specialty martini way too sweet, olive oil for bread nothing special. The bruschetta was good and the scallop special cooked just right with nice presentation. Maestro masterpiece ordered without calamari yet came full of it. Didn't want to wait 20min for another so picked them out. Mediocre dish overall sadly. Very loud inside and it... More

Excellent italian food! We enjoyed the veal special & veal parm...both excellent. Good quality & good quantity...enough for lunch the next day. Only problems...service was very slow & the cannoli's were not up to standard. Otherwise good food for a reasonable price.
