Fried seafood...good but nothing to write home about.

Not the best seafood I have ever had but it's ok. Mostly known for fried fare. Kind of like upscale cafeteria style. Dont get me wrong, the fried food is ok, and as long as you are not really a fried clam fanataic, you will be pleased. You can get a cold beer or glass of wine to sweeten your... read more

I thought $22.95 was expensive for a whole clam plate compared to the prices of other things. I got the salmon special instead which was a little overcooked. A friend that I went with said it was the best seafood restaurant they ever went to. Might of been the case a few years ago but not this time. There are... More

I went with my family and after reading the reviews thought it might be good but the food was disgusting the chicken was poor grade chicken and the seafood was just yucky and thick batter and tartar sauce was disgusting! Sorry just not worth the trip!

Always excellent and non greasy, I think one of the best chowders too. Very creamy and delicious. I have eaten here many times, I also love the sole or shrimp platters. The prices are a little high but good seafood is expensive.

The food was not bad but it certainly isn't the best of anything. I ordered the fish and chips special and there was very little flavor and very ordinary fries. It is an upscale cafeteria so don't expect to have much service beyond delivery of your food to your table after they call out your number. The staff was very... More

This is a terrific spot to get your fried clams, oysters, shrimp, or whatever you like in seafood. Nothing fancy here-just straight forward melt in your mouth platters.

Ate at Cooke's Seafood for the first time tonight. Great recommendations from the staff; Lobster roll and Clam strip platter were the best! We marvelled at the freshness of everything -- not an ounce of greasiness, like the oil in the fryer was new, new, new. Even the fries were extra good. Wonderfully clean, bright and inviting. Price point for... More

My wife had the fisherman's platter and I had the scallops. Both were prepared well and delicious. Onion rings were also very good. Clam chowder was also noteworthy. Service was fast. Lines form quickly on the 11:30 opening time.

We ordered 4 different entrees and I'm sad to say there wasn't one item that was praisworthy. Styrofoam dishes, seafood so heavily battered you can't tell what you're eating, tasteless coleslaw, and clam chowder where you can't find a clam. If you have a palate used to whole/clean foods, you won't like this food.

Well what can I say apart from amazing! We were visiting my family and they were going on and on that we have to try cape cods seafood and they recommended this place. I really wanted to try shrimp and scallops. Well I was in heaven! Everything was so good! Clam chowder is a must! You got to have it.... More
