DELICIOUS FRIED CLAMS

We were staying at the hotel across the street and dined here last month. As we were former residents of the Cape many years ago we were looking forward to our favorite fried clams. Cooke's did not disappoint. The clams were very tender and the breading light and not greasy. The restaurant... read more

We ordered 4 different entrees and I'm sad to say there wasn't one item that was praisworthy. Styrofoam dishes, seafood so heavily battered you can't tell what you're eating, tasteless coleslaw, and clam chowder where you can't find a clam. If you have a palate used to whole/clean foods, you won't like this food.

I took a road trip to Hyannis this summer with my family. We did the normal sightseeing around town and took a ride in the neighborhoods near the Kennedy Compound. Then we decided it was time to stop for some good Cape Cod seafood and we found Cooke's. YUM! This restaurant did not disappoint! The seafood chowder was delicious! The... More

We have been comming here for over a year when we visit my friends aunt who lives in Sandwhich, can not understand some of the bad reviews I have read in the past? The BEST clam roll I've ever had! In 1 week visit to the area, I had the roll 4 times. Large serving, fired perfect every time, sweet, and tender. Very friendly service, very clean eating and kitchen area, and very fast service. You won't be unhappy if you eat here!

This is one of those places you can stop in anytime and the quality and service are always great. The chowder is terrific and everything I have ordered is great. It is local but always welcomes newcomers.

Just not good. The clam chowder had no clams. It was all broth and two pieces of potato. The lobster roll was mediocre. The atmosphere is bland, one step up from a cafeteria. We didn't try the fried seafood which was offered in every variety on the menu. I just wouldn't bother. It wasn't worth our time, money or calories.... More
