Come to the Cape each year the end of September and go to Cooke's for fried clams, scallops and onion rings. This year the food was not as good as last year - greasiest and a smaller portion. Clams tasted good but the scallops lacked a good seafood taste. And the onion rings were really greasy. OK but lesser quality.... More

We had just driven up & were in the midst of a nor'easter we wanted to grab & bite & get in out of the rain. We were surprised that you placed the order & then went to sit down, but the prices looked reasonable & there were plenty of choices, even wine by the glass! I ordered the stuffed... More

Have been here a couple times and the food has been good, albeit a little expensive. Cooke's seems to be pretty well known -- like some old-time restaurant would be. But the building itself seems sparklingly new -- though very comfortable.

Alarm bells should have rung as soon as we got there, it was approximately 8pm on a Saturday evening and the place was almost deserted. Shouldn't be called a restaurant. It's a fish and chip shop. The food was ok but everything else was not ! Including the price, almost $45 inc Tax, paper plates for god's sake, a plastic... More

Yes, salmon is not a native East Coast fish, but with allergies to most fresh seafood, we ordered it for lunch. It was dried out and pretty tasteless, perhaps thawed in a microwave. We were surprised to be served our hot lunch on paper plates, and we had to request a knife. The prices for the lunch specials ranged from... More

It's a fish & chip shop with tables, not really a restaurant. Good for kids. They serve decent fish & chips.

Suggested by friends. Inside look depressing (almost like a nursing home) so if the weather's good definitely use the outside tables MUCH more pleasant. Good solid fresh made to order seafoods at VERY reasonable prices. Fish & chips, broiled scrod both nice. Excellent frappes too (coffee & vanilla). A definte return

My wife and I stopped by Cooke's for dinner. We had the belly clams and fried oysters. Both meals were fantastic! The belly clams were the best that I have ever had, and my wife’s oysters were also fantastic. This place has no liquor just beer and wine which is just fine. The food was all fresh, and the service... More

This is not a restaurant, it's a fish + chip shop where you can sit down to eat. Food is served on tiny paper plates with a plastic fork (no knife) which is laughable as it's not particularly cheap! We ate at around 8.30pm + 10 mins into our meal my husband tried to buy another drink but was refused... More

We went to Cooke's on the recommendation from Tourist Information...and I was not expecting too much....but we were pleasantly surprised ! We actually went back each night that we stayed in Hyannis. We found that the Cape was very pricey....but Cooke's menu was reasonable. It was paper plates and more or less serve yourself....but the food was delicious. Order at... More
