Fried Clam Platter -- the best!

It was pouring down rain last week when we were heading out to eat with our daughter & son-in-law. He didn't want seafood, but we did. There was a 40 minute wait at one place we tried; then the next place they wanted to try was closed b/c of electrical issues! They headed home, while my husband and... read more

My family returns to this restaurant again and again when we visit Hyannis - sometimes multiple times in one day. The prices are reasonable, especially relative to the freshness and value of the food you receive. It's not on the water, but otherwise about as close as you'll come to a nice seafood shack in Hyannis - simple, fresh seafood.... More

Please get the corn on the cob It is fantastically good this time of the year. No need for salt or butter. My husband and FiL had scrod and my MiL and I had the fried shrimp and scallop platters. The cole slaw is served fairly dry which is the way I like it. 4 adult entrees with 2 side... More

It's an indoor/outdoor counter service restaurant. While it cost us a little more than when we eat out at home, it cost way less than most restaurants in vacation spots. The servings are huge. My husband and I could have easily shared our dinners instead of ordering two. While side items may appear pricey, the portions are so large that... More

The fried clam strips are crispy not greasy. Other food is ok. It's an order at the counter & they'll deliver your food to your table when it's ready. Service is fast. Busy ace in the summer.

We visited Cooks on Aug 11, during a really gloomy day in Centerville. I've read some pretty good reviews so the family decided to try it tonight. My son and I got one of the specials, Fish and Chips. we were disappointed in that there was more batter than there was fish. The Onion rings were tasty but they were... More

This is a casual dining place, where you order from the counter and they bring the food to the table when ready. So don't expect service like a full service restaurant. You get your own water, etc. This worked out well for our group of 10, including 4 kids. The wait was not long for our hungry kids. The prices... More

I've been happier with the Mashpee Cooke's, so I raised the grade from a 2 to a 3. Unfriendly staff, dirty tables, and chowder with an overpowering evaporated milk taste made this a disappointment.
