Tugboats was recommended to us by locals. Tugboats is not inexpensive but the amount, quality and preparation of the cuisine is well worth the money, The sunset view from the terrace is breathtaking. The onion rings are plentiful and perfectly prepared for crispness and no grease. The dinner selections are prepared to your taste. Our Server Roger did an outstanding... More

As I heard another reviewer comment Tugboats have the great veiws and they know it. As much as I would agree with this statement I believe the varied experiences noted here are due to the attitude of one or more of the servers in the restaurant. We arrived just before sunset and were able to get a table out on... More

The bar at Tugboats offers the best water view of Hyannis Harbour. They have added 3 new draught offerings as of September 2014: Shipyard Monkey Fist IPA, Shipyard Pumpkinhead and Sea Dig Sunfish. This is in addition to Yuengling Lager and Stella Artois.

The food was fair to good. Waitstaff average. When asked for a recomendation our server seemed like she never tried the food. But what makes this place special is sitting outside overlooking Hyannis Harbour. At night its Magical.

Tugboat is a favorite restaurant. The meals are generally good, and come fast when ordered. Therefore, if you order an entry, changes are that the main course will arrive a few minutes after. Service is friendly, the food is fine. Nothing unexpected, but the charm is really to be able to sit outside on the deck, see the boats pass... More

We have been to Tugboats many summers when we have been on the Cape and look forward to going back year after year. The location is great and we love to sit outside and enjoy the ferries, yachts, and other boats while we eat. This year was no different, we still love Tugboats. We enjoyed the O-rings which are served... More

Warning, Tugboat's lobster bisque will ruin it everywhere else! I have gone back several times! Simply the best!

Beautiful location on the harbor in Hyannis. Great place for drinks at the rather small bar but the restaurant experience is average. My meal which was a special was completely dried out fish ! A classic appetizer of Spinach and Artichoke dip was small, oily and just gross. The service is lackluster.

Tugboats is located in the Hyannis Marina with great views of inner Hyannis Harbor, Island ferries, and magnificent yachts. We hadn't been here in several years, but last night wanted a casual seafood dinner; we went with our son, daugher-in-law, and 3 year old granddaughter. As we were getting our granddaughter settled in her chair, a waitress quite snippily told... More

Fish was frozen. The meal had no taste. The view was fantastic. This is a job for kitchen nightmares, chef Ramsey
