Not wanting to trail into Hyannis town we opted for lunch at Tugboats. It was not a good experience. We entered the deck area via the bar and the sad old waitress first ignored us then produced menus. When we decided that the atmosphere was better in the bar, a few metres away, she removed the menus as if they... More

2nd visit to Tugboats. Location is great. Wonderful view of Hyannis Marina. Went with a party of 8 friends and we had to wait about 30 minutes (not bad at all), but went over to the bar overlooking the water and it was great. Our dinner seating was on the patio with a great breeze (ladies might want to bring... More

We were searching for a water view restaurant to take our elderly Mom. Well the food was good, however, the handicap ramp was in poor condition ( we even suggested to the hostess that the boards needed to be repaired) and the handicap outdoor deck overlooks the parking area. The other deck had a better view. We also had to... More

Just returned from a business trip in Hyannis that had myself and several colleagues eat dinner at Tugboats. We had reservations and we were quickly greeted and seated, with options for outside or inside. The service was quick and prompt, but not rushed. Drink orders were taken and quickly returned and both a regular menu and specials menu were presented... More

Only a 5 minute walk from the Steamship Authority terminal and well worth it. This is the best waterfront dining location in Hyannis. A little pricey but view makes up for this. If you drive their is free valet parking.

Had a great seafood selection. Onion ring appiztier is huge and enough for a meal; homemade batter. Only downside to eating outside was little black bugs kept getting stuck in my salad and had to use knife to dig them out. I seemed to be the only one at the table that noticed though.

Great setting on and views of Hyannis Harbor. Good, sound work on the fryer producing clean and crisp fried fish and clams, yet rather high on the price side. Not sure the premium paid for the view substantiates the price points. Drinks are watery. Not wanting french fries, I asked for onion rings. I was told rather rudely that there... More

Great food and atmosphere. Right on the water. Friendly staff. Good seafood. Onion rings the best. Drinks were good too.

Food and service were great! We ate outside! We ate outside on the deck watching all the boats. It was fun! We had fish taco and blackened tuna. Both were really good! Definitely recommend!

As the setting is amazing, some service concerns can be overlooked, however the food quality still needs to be top notch! While our onion rings were hot and amazing as usual, my spouses lobster roll contained too much mayonnaise and my cheeseburger was cooked well past medium. We enjoyed our meal but the view provided the majority of the enjoyment.
