The Common Ground Cafe stands out as one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. It was a friendly and welcoming experience with exceptional food.

An unexpected and heavenly oasis on Main Street in ugly Hyannis, this restaurant's family-friendly menu is limited but the food is delish and EXTREMELY reasonable. The help are cheery, helpful and efficient. But it's the unique ambiance that makes it worth a trip from anywhere. Ever wonder how a Hobbit felt at home? With cozy corners, unique tables private enough... More

What a fantastic experience, 2nd day in Hyannis looking for lunch, wandered in , could not beleive the atmosphere, great food in an unusual but VERY relaxing setting,if you don't like this place , you are way to fussy for your own good Mike & Sue (Stoke on Trent UK)

Neat little place. Had some lovely sandwiches and smoothies! Loved the atmosphere! Their bread is to die for!

I LOVE taking my sons friends here for the first time! We are going to have lunch in a treehouse! Love their Greek Salad...I always order bread with it, homemade and great. Kids love the smoothies...they will make up any combination. And the PB with Honey and Bananas sandwich is a kids favorite! The food is great...the music a little... More

Decent priced restaurant on main street. It has a rainforest theme. They are trying to be a new age/healthy/natural restaurant so ALL the sandwiches are on whole wheat bread. We couldn't even get grilled cheese on white bread. Ironically, they serve soda though which is surely worse than white bread?

Enjoyed a really great haddock chowder here. We also had a very good tuna sandwich. The inside is very subdued in lighting but there are very unique booths for enjoying a meal together. It's hard to describe but it's like something out of The Hobbit with different shaped wood everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. The place... More

This place has decor that makes me think we have stepped into Hobbiton...or the place where the Hobbit lived. It's so cool and different that it takes the word "cosy" to an all new level. Food is really fresh and delicious even though it's pretty basic. We had the most amazing Haddock Chowder...loaded with flavour and fish! A warm piece... More

Cute treehouse, hippy, ambiance. The staff was very sweet. We ordered lattes. They do not do flavoring but they didn't need it. Huge coffee mugs of deliciousness! Homemade granola with banana slices all around, raspberry muffin and a turkey grilled sandwich were among our choices. We all loved our food. Would definitely put this on the Hyannis Must List as... The food is delicious and the ice coffee is outstanding. It took me two trips to realize it is run by the Twelve Tribes. the bathroom is a little over the top wallpapered with their newsletters. But no one is preaching just making and serving very fresh delicious food
