We enjoyed a drink first, sitting outside with live music on offer. It was a great atmosphere and continued when we then sat out on the heated terrace and enjoyed a lovely dinner. While my wife ordered I asked the waiter for his recommendation and he said their lobster rolls were renowned for quality and flavour. I can't remember what... More

We stayed in Cape Cod for a week and had two dinners at this restaurant (the only one we went to twice!). The food is so good, and the service was great. We ate inside both times but they also have a really nice patio that has views of the harbour. I would definitely recommend!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Higly recommended by a family from Norway who had dinner there.

This is a friendly place with an outdoor dining area, indoor seating and a popular bar. Personally, I think the best seat in the house is at the bar. Great bartender and even better service, though the service in the dining room is very good. The food is good and the selection is decent. It's a fun atmosphere and the... More

We had lunch at the Black Cat on a recent Saturday. Had not been there for quite a while. It was great. We sat at the bar. It wasn't too busy which was nice. Our bartender, Evan, was great. Very helpful with the menu and very pleasant and attentive. It was really a nice afternoon. The food was good, I... More

Decided to give this place a try, as the menu looked interesting, and the various seating areas were also very nice. We ate at the middle seating area, by the outdoor bar. We were told this had an abbreviated menu from the other 2 seating areas, but the menu was still quite thorough. We all had the chowder-- which was... More

Located opposite the harbour in Hyannis from where you can watch the boats come and go all day whilst at the same time digging into what can only be described as 'one mother of a lobster roll' - the sweet potato fries were extra but well worth the extra dollar.

My wife and I went based on recommendation of hotel. We have seen the raves that one must have a lobster roll while in NE. Maybe we expected more, lobster with mayo on a bun for $25, not impressed. If all are like this then we had our first and last. The clam chowder was good but still expensive. Service... More

We were so surprised by the Black Cat! We were able to eat outside on their patio which was very nice. The chowder is excellent! Service, food, atmosphere... it has it all. Definitely have a meal at this establishment if you are in Hyannis. You will not be disappointed.
