Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts. Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. Over the years, we have received rave reviews from food critics from the Cape Cod Times, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cape Cod Life Magazine, Fodor's, AAA, and New York Times critic James Beard for "...exquisite Northern Italian cuisine". Our lounge is the perfect setting for a before dinner cocktail, an after dinner espresso, or an even more casual meal. .

great food, outdated dining room

I go to Albertos at least 5 times a year, love the veal dishes, very reasonably priced, mostly for lunch less crowded and I take my 90 year old mother who loves the veal also, but overall the dining room hasn't been renovated in 20 years, but doesn't effect the quality of the food it just needs an... read more

My husband and I went to Alberto's with another couple and we were all, sadly disappointed in our meals. We sat at the bar. The bartender was wonderful, made a great martini and was very pleasant, unfortunately she wasn't cooking. We enjoyed our appetizers; salmon carpaccio and bruschetta. We did not, unfortunately enjoy our meals. I had the eggplant parm,... More

A nice quiet evening meal with lots to choose from on the menu. I was there early in the evening so it wasn't that busy so service was timely and not pushy. I like time to have a pre dinner drink and then my meal and not be rushed which is what I got.

We visited Alberto's for an evening with friends. The room we sat in was lovely and we were promptly seated for our reservation. The food was excellent! We chose to order from the price fix menu and the portions were plenty big enough and the selection great. It is a great value and I would highly recommend it. We have... More

This was our third visit to Albertos and everything was just as good as the first visit. My husband had veal parm, that's how he judges an Italian restaurant! Large portion, tender and delicious. I had lobster ravioli in a light cream sauce with asparagus - it was superb! I usually don't like cream sauces but this was not overpowering... More

Just had lunch at the bar with a friend who is a chef from Nantucket. The food was very good. The service was OK because there was a language barrier. Tuna and veal were prepared well. Tuna was exceptional and plated nicely. Veal parmesan was very good but the sauce was a little burnt. Not that most people would have... More

We waited to be seated outside but there was some confusion so we were delayed for a while, which was strage as there was plenty of space. Once seated we had some champagne and then chose our mains. Food came in reasonable time and service was good. Atmosphere was good. Food was of a fair quality but nothing exceptional, we... More

This was my third and best visit so far. Big improvement over last visit. Server was good and took our orders on a timely basis and there wasn't a long wait between courses. Portions we had were fine, and tasty. I had the Caprese Salad which was very fresh, good size and tasty. I had the Cioppino which again was... More

We had a really nice time at Alberto's--the food and service was very good and the atmosphere festive for the holidays, but I was disappointed in the size of the portions served at the $25 3-course fixed price meal. Perhaps when ordered off the regular menu (this special menu contained most of the same items) the portions are bigger. My... More

We were in the Hyannis area and going to Boston and decided to stop and celebrate the New Year Eve di. Er with the Three course dinner from 11:45 to 5:45. The appetizer and meal were great! My husband could finish with a dessert of the noise , which was outstanding. I asked for my dessert of a three layer... More
