Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts. Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. Over the years, we have received rave reviews from food critics from the Cape Cod Times, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Cape Cod Life Magazine, Fodor's, AAA, and New York Times critic James Beard for "...exquisite Northern Italian cuisine". Our lounge is the perfect setting for a before dinner cocktail, an after dinner espresso, or an even more casual meal. .

Elegant restaurant

I had the eggplant parmesan. It was good but not the best I've ever had so I cannot rate it excellent. Very friendly server.

A little pricy but boy was it worth it! I had the manicotti, my husband had the linguini with shrimp scallops and lobster, the size of the seafood was huge! I have never seen such big shrimp in a shrimp cocktail! It was worth every penny.

The food is great. They specialize in Italian, but they serve all types of fares. It is quite pricey, but it was our "splurge night". The service is very good, and the servings are very generous. It is located right on Main Street in Hyannis.

There were six of us dining at this restaurant. We ate the Price Fixe menu, which is available from 11:30 AM to 5:45 PM for $24.95. This is a tremendous value meal, which allows you to order from the complete dessert menu - http://www.albertos.net/content/prix-fix-menu/ . Check it out. We all left there stuffed. I am Italian and I would give... More

I lived in Northern Italy for many years and this restaurant is a close to authentic as possible. You can ask for special preparations and they will try to accommodate your request. Chef is very talented. The wait staff excellent and the wine list is extensive. We return year after year and have never been disappointed.

When we crave Italian, this is a special place to visit. White linen tablecloths, large booths, sunny atmosphere, and great food. We usually go in the afternoon, but the menu is ample for evening. Everything is elegant and cooked to perfection.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went back again for dinner. The menu items were reasonable for Hyannis. The scallop and shirmp plate was excellent. The scallops were huge as well as the shrimp. The lobster bique soup was excellent. I would suggest this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. The service was excellent each time we went..

Alberto's Ristorante - Hyannis, MA - 4/15/2015 Three slices of room temperature French bread...Olive Oil with a medley of Olives... Cakes of butter... The bread almost has a sourdough quality to it and was quite scrumptious... I usually prefer my bread served warm but this was quite spectacular. Turns out they get their bread from a gourmet French bakery around... More

Alberto's was pretty solid all around. Fried Calamari was a good starter along with very fresh Wellfleet oysters, and salads. Veal dishes were very good, seasoned beautifully and nice rich sauces. Two at the table had gnocchi and also very well prepared. In my opinion the wine list, which is pretty extensive, could use some more middle and lower tier... More

You will love this quaint restaurant with their warm rolls and olive oil with large black olives mixed in. Delicious calamari, wonderful risotto. We brought the family and the kids loved everything they ate too. The ambiance was perfect with a cozy fireplace. If you are in the area, check it out... you will be pleased.
