We tried Pizza Barbone tonight and are very, very happy. Our family ordered 4 different varieties and each one was perfect. The meatball pizza was my favorite~not heavy, dense meatballs but perfectly seasoned and light...soo good! We also had the crushed potato pizza which was a unique pizza with crushed creamer potatos, bacon, scallions and mozzarella. To die for! The... More

You are warned by the waiting staff that these are not your average pizzas. Hand stretched, cooked in a proper pizza oven (so the bottom can get a bit charred - beware if you don't like this!) and topped with delicious ingredients, these are definitely better than normal. I had the forest mushroom one - a good variety of fungi,... More

Truly, this place ruined pizza for me. It gave me the honest experience of what pizza is meant to be...& now I honestly cannot eat pizza elsewhere!!! All of the cheeses are fresh and many are imported from Italy. The flour for the dough is as well imported, same as the majority of the meats. Many of the spices and... More

We did take out pizza for 10 adults from Pizza Barbone and kept it simple, getting one of each kind (and 2 of the Pistachio pesto). The pizzas were great; excellent crust with interesting combinations on top. The Pistachio pesto was voted the best but the crushed potato with bacon was great, as well. The size is a generous one... By reading some reviews I throught it would be great but was disappointed... Ok, it was a good pizza but not a great one. The dough itself was nice but the garnish not the best making it more american style than truly italian. The restaurant itself is nice with a good atmosphere and a very efficient and friendly staff. The... More

The pizza and salad we had was very good and just the right size for a dinner. The food was also ready very quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. It's a very nice atmosphere, a little bit loud with the large table of adults and children that were there when we were. We would go back.

This is one of the only nicer restaurants in Hyannis, which was surprising, as we expected Hyannis to be a town with lots of nice restaurants and sites. In any case, the pizza was very good and so was the wine. Atmosphere is really nice. Service started out a little neglectful, but got better as the night went on.

Came here for a casual dinner one night during our stay in Hyannis. Everything looked the part yet we were far from blown away. The wine we ordered wasn't particularly nice, and no ice bucket/cooler provided to stop it going lukewarm. I had a pizza which I felt could have benefited from cooking for slightly longer in order to be... More

Hotel suggested because we wanted wood fired pizza. $13.91 for an 8 inch pizza with the littlest amount of chese I've ever seen on a pizza. The sauce wasn't the slightest bit sweet. The staff was wonderful and so very nice, but I would not recommend this pizza to anyone. Sorry but I will NOT return.

Great little pizza stop in Hyannis. Limited menu because of the size but the pizzas are creative and tasty. Also recommend the roasted cauliflower which was delicious and leave you wanting more. The wait staff here is very young but kudos to ownership because they were very well trained and attentive. Great stop that will have you coming back.
